  • I have a tendency to snack when I'm bored or frustrated, so if I go exercise or take a walk, sometime I realize I don't actually want a snack. And if I still do, I can have some crackers or fruit because I've done some exercise.
  • I searched around for this a while ago, and I think it said that almost all versions of DDR are highly inaccurate. I tend to just log it as general or aerobic dancing. 25-50 cal seems high, given the average DDR song is about 2-3 minutes.
  • I agree with finding something you enjoy, I've been doing a lot of DDR. But I'll also say that if you can find a friend or two who you can either compete with or who makes it more fun to go that can have a big effect. You don't have to be at the same level of fitness/skill, just able to push each other to go a little more…
  • Done Had to split the jumping jacks into 2 sets and the crunches into 3 sets, it's been years since I've done crunches :(
  • I've been doing a mix of diet soda, water with those water enhancer flavor things, and herbal/black teas. I especially like mint-chamomile tea, but almost everyone I know likes different types of tea. I only really drink plain water if I've been exercising.
  • -ose pretty much is just the chemistry suffix for a sugar of any sort. Organic chemistry is big on the suffixes
  • Wait, loosing isn't a word? But what if my fat has turned into some sort of sci-fi monster and I'm unleashing it on an unsuspecting populace? :smile: I just choose to interpret things with the words as spelled and giggle about it.
  • For me, my parents made me take both swimming and martial arts classes when I was young. The swimming I loved so I kept up with it, but the martial arts was mostly frustrating to me. It's really hard for me to chain movements together the way it was being taught, so I stopped after one block of classes. Now, if fencing…
