Any chinese buffet I've been to has a salad bar too. So I'd go there. Then have a few pieces of chicken. You can always enjoy a little and just work extra hard at tomorrow's workout.

I like to use the Map my Walk App on my Iphone

Oh yeah why not? I do it especially when I pack my lunch for work. For example, I won't be able to remember what kind of turkey breast I added to my sandwich and how much. It helps give me a better idea of what calories I have left for the day.

Yes I know eating right is HUGE to weight loss. I fell off the bandwagon a little bit this past weekend but I'm back on track again! Hopefully increasing my work outs will give it the kick it needs.

Maybe it's just me getting older! :( I can't lose weight like I use to!

I don't think your too young at all. Maybe if you were 16? Different story. I also find it admirable that you are going back to school so you can give your child a great life. Good for you.

I'm in! Mine is to exercise more often and to really push myself at the workouts. Including memorial weekend were I will be camping all 3 days.

I think about how healthy I'll be in the long run and try to envision myself in a hot bikini. Or I've looked at my high school photos were I was so much smaller. I'm trying to get back in shape for my high school reunion next year and a trip to Florida with my boyfriend next March.

Sure would. It's a thrill in itself just to be there and finish no matter what place you come in.

DQ M&M blizzard :(

Thanks for the lists guys, I found it help too. I'm going to have to try Almond Milk, seems to be a favorite!

Very inspiring and motivating! You were about the same weight I started at and I have that much weight to lose. So thanks for the post!!

Count me in! It's been a few years since I've been able to wear a "sexy" costume. And around that time I'll hopefully be near my goal weight, so I am SO in! Starting weight: 225 Current Weight: 216 Goal Weight: 150 If I stay on track, hopefully be around 166 if not more :) by Halloween

Ah glad I'm not the only one who had a crappy weekend in regards to food! Well today is a new day and fortunately I have boot camp tonight to kick my butt into gear.

Definitely a HRM and a little black dress :)

I feel your pain girl! I'm 27 as well and have bad RA in both my knees :( I use to run but haven't in like 6 years. Up until a few months ago I could hardly walk. I know putting on weight did not help me knees. I started off slow by walking. At first it was 20 minutes, then 30, etc. Now I am able to use the elliptical. I…

Oh my cat loves the feather w/bell on the rod thingy. Or he fetches the little, hard mice toys. Or lazer pen. My apartment is two levels so I have food downstairs and his litter box upstairs.

Oh when I pull out my yoga mat my cat plops right down on it, lol.

It went great! I got a little emotional because 6 years ago I was able to run that same race. But like you said, baby steps. I finished it in an hour which I was aiming for and didn't stop once :)

Anything to make opening things or cutting things up help me. For example, my electronic can opener has been amazing! Or my food chopper to cut veggies, fruit. Haven't found anything for cutting bread or meat. Maybe sit in a chair while cooking will help with getting off your feet?
-
Wow you look amazing!!!

Just started my journey a little over a month ago, can't wait to look like you ladies when I'm done :)
-
Sorry to hear about your loss. My bf's mom passed away 3 months ago as well and I'm trying to deal with it too. :( I would love to help support you in your weight loss journey. You can do it! (friend request sent)

I definitely don't find them filling so I'd eat something else with it. And watch the sodium on them.

I have an Iphone so I use the MFP app on it and I type in the restaurant and look at the list of healthy choices. They are usually salads but they are good!

I agree with the above. Just take it one day at a time. I too have always gone up and down with my weight. This time it's going to be different because I want it to be. I have also started taking pictures so I can see the changes (very motivating) and counting calories keeps me accountable. I've also set rewards for myself…
