You might wanna check with your doctor about that one. I know that quitting smoking is a stressful process so that may be a part of the problem. Hang in there and get some professional help, please don't risk becoming addicted to sleeping pills we all have addictive personalities ya know!

Some people lash out in anger because they had to quit for whatever reason but thats ok. As for you goldbeater I simply mentioned about the cravings to help others who might be going through the same and if you were really interrsted in support, you would have congratulated me on being smoke free for the last 10 years. I…

I'm not sure what you're trying to say but this group is all about support and encouragement for those of us who have quit smoking and are now struggling to lose weight. We are well aware that nicotine is a very addictive drug and the cravings for it never go away, I still have them after 10 years but we are strong and…

Welcome to the group, we're here to help. Losing weight is more about changing your habits than starting someone's diet. I started this group because people like us who have kicked the habit HAVE what it takes to lose weight, most of us just don't know it. Those of us who quit cold turkey should approach losing weight the…

MotherBetty for God's sake don't pick up that habbit again just to curb an appitite. It's been over 10 years since I went cold turkey and I can't say I don't still think about having one every now and again but I know the health bennifits outweigh any pleasure I'd get. Stay strong ya'll.

Not anyone successful. My personal point of view is that in order to quit, you have to want it more than anything in the world. At that point, you can go cold turkey which in my humble opinion is the ONLY way to quit. But everyone has they're own way. Just like weight loss, some people have to go for the surgery but I feel…

You have to get moving, it's just not an option if you want the weight to start falling off of you. Sweets will get you nowhere fast, I know cause when I started this journey back on January 21, 2012 I was T-Totally addicted to sugar. I was eating 4000 calories a day and most of it came from sugar, fried foods and just…

Count me in too. 19 down and 81 left to go but it's getting easier every day! I've been told I'm a pretty good motivator so if you're struggling, I'll do my best to help you get over the hump. Add me

If you have a smart phone, the MFP app, has all kinds of nutritional info on McDonald's, just type in McDonald's into the search bar. If you don't have a smart phone, what are ya waiting for. lol

Have you noticed that the majority of the people agreeing with you have lost 25 lbs or less? There's a reason why counting calories is THAT important to those of us who are serious about changing our lives. Not caring what we put in our bodies is what got us where we are and I for one am not going to let sugar rule me…

Great job! I quit a 27 year 2 pack a day habit (cold turkey) on January 21, 2002 and have never looked back. It's a great start to a healthy life. Feel free to friend me if you'd like.

I log everything as soon as it goes in my mouth, that is what my diet is all about. Once you start tracking everything, it's a major eye opener! Feel free to friend me if you'd like.
