I lost inches almost instantly. About 3 weeks after I started running every day is when I noticed it a little. I've lost 12 pounds and notice it a lot more now than a month ago. But every body is different. We lose pounds and inches at different rates and in different places. I don't think there's anything to worry about :)

Mine wasn't a 'wake up' moment either. I got fed up with people giving me dirty looks and how I didn't fit into any of my clothes. I stopped feeling sorry for myself and started working out.
