Sorry, but you can't spot reduce. The weight will come of where it decides to. Eat at a deficit and workout regularly. I suggest lifting heavy along with cardio to see the best results.

I say hey to all the regulars I see in the Nike Training Club class I take once a week. The other days I'm in the gym lifting it's in the morning so I'm focused on getting my workout in then showering and heading to work. My run club is a different story. I've made great friends because we spend so much time training for…

Not sure if it was posted previously, but if you have an IPhone download the Nike Training Club App.

Ok, feel better about yourself? I'll rephrase that, my jeans are size 23 and 24.

You could probably get away with eating more. Your activity level will play a role in how much you should be eating. To me 1500 is way low for your size. I'm 5'3, size 0 (sorry I don't weight myself because scales are BS), and I eat about 1900 a day and that's on a cut. So eat more.
-
Impossible to get huge deficits when you're short? That is simply not true! I burned 899 calories yesterday and 1140 the day before. It's called working your butt off. Please don't spread that false information. OP, focus on taking small steps, but ultimately you'll need to find what works best for you. For some it's the…

I use the TDEE method so I eat the same amount of calories, 1853, no matter what. On days I have huge burns like 1000+ I'll eat a little more.
-
Nothing. I'm a fan of quality. If I'm going to eat a burger and fries it's going to be a damn good burger. Shake Shack or BareBurger at the very least.
-
Gnary Whey Chiseled Choclate. Best protein ever and it's not loaded with crap.
-
I'm 5'3 and I eat between 1800-1900 calories a day and I'm on a cut. I don't weigh myself because I don't trust scales but I wear a size 0 or 00 and I'm 18% bodyfat and edging down to between 15%-16%.
-
Do what works best for you. For me it's lifting at 5:30am along with running a few nights a week depending where I am in my marathon training. It's about finding what you can stick to long term.
-
I go without makeup all the time and even when I do wear makeup its minimal. It's called taking great care of my skin and drinking loads of water. Granted I still look like hell when I'm tired.........
-
Nope, not high at all. I'm 5'3, a size 0, and my calorie goal is about 1900 right now on a cut. I work out about 6 days a week and sometimes twice. TDEE gives your body the amount that it truly needs. I have enough food to fuel my workouts and keep me satisfied. Trust it.

I'm training for the Paris Marathon in April as well as the Manhattan Half later this month, NYC Half in March, and the Nike Women's DC Half in late April. That's my Q1 race calendar so far. Feel free to add me!

Alarm goes off at 5/5:15am. I have all my things packed the night before so I just put on my clothes and walk over to my gym which opens at 5:30am. I'm in the shower by 7am, out of Equinox by 8am to head for the subway and into the office.
-
Feel free to add me! I have a 200+ day streak, hit the gym 5-6 days a week, and I run marathons. I'm always active and I'll gladly provide motivation and support!

I was never technically fat. I'd been no bigger than a size 4/5 my entire life. That was with me eating like crap and being an athlete. I was never happy with that size because it looked big on me since I have a tiny frame. Same habit through half of my college career when I decided to change my eating. Stopped eating fast…

1. Run 1500 miles in 2014 2. Run a 1:35 half, hopefully the NYC Half 3. Boston Qualify in the Paris Marathon 4. Go from 18% body fat to 15% (down from 19% last month)
-
Just added you!! I love having new runner friends!
-
Nope! I ran 11 miles around Manhattan the day Hurricane Sandy was rolling in. I've done runs with windchills of 6F, I run in pouring rain, snow. I refuse to run on a treadmill.
-
1. Get through my training injury free. Beginning of the year knee injury sucked last Jan. 2. Run the NYC Half in 1:35. 3. BQ at the Paris Marathon.....or so I hope. 4. 1500 miles for the year. 5. Keep a balance with lifting during training since it helps keep me injury free.

It's a 60 min class and the only people allowed to teach it at my gym are certified by Nike.
-
I do that on my Wednesday workouts. I do a Nike Training Club class followed by a BodyCombat class usually burning over 800 calories. On other days I lift in the morning and run about 5-7 miles at night which gives me about a 800 calorie burn for the day. As a distance runner I'm used to working out that hard. I'm not sure…

A Tall Blonde at Starbucks is $2, in Manhattan. The only coffee I pay $5 for is a cup of Ethiopian coffee French pressed when I order it from a place called Kaffe 1668. Only have 2 locations in TriBeCa and it puts Stumptown Coffee to shame.
-
I honestly don't even think about it. I have bars on hand in my desk and bag just in case. When I run out I'll stop by VitaminShoppe when I have a chance. Like someone above mentioned if I don't flinch at spending $2 on a cup of coffee once or twice a day, why not a Quest bar.
-
Like everyone has said, 7 weeks should be plenty of time to do another half. Half marathons aren't as intense as fulls so I don't even take time to recover. I have my butt back out running the next day. I've even done two within 7 days.

Um, I ran the NYC Marathon two weeks after my first full in SF. Also, I was back out running that Thursday evening with my run club. Everyone else who ran the marathon hit the park on Tuesday night soooooo yeah. OP do what feels good for you. One of our pacers did NYC and just ran the Philly marathon on Sunday. He also ran…
