Lindt lindor chocolate egg - 113 calories Good for satisfying a chocolate/sugar craving while staying below goal

Even how much milk I was actually putting in my tea... Totals about 150 calories a day!

I ate 1,500 calories over on Friday night at a friend's house. It was the end of a very long week and I arrived starving and tired. In the past days like this have led to giving up, but this time I have resolved to simply forget it. I have stayed within my goal for the following two days and I'm feeling pretty happy about…

I try to net 1480 or slightly less. Add me :)

Yesterday I turned down the croissants a co-worker bought for our team. Don't think I've ever managed to do that before!

I'm also doing Beginner Shred, exactly half way through. I hadn't done much exercise for a while due to back pain and thought this would be a good way to ease myself back into a routine. Despite it being 'easier' than her other DVDs it is still get a good workout and she includes plenty of modifications to make it harder,…

Various types of tea, hot chocolate, wholegrain porridge pots and agave syrup to put in them, and ryvita crackers which I eat with houmous or fish pate.

Did you stay within your nutritional goals? Yes Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? N/A What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? 4th day without a mid-morning vending machine snack' What would I have done differently? Nothing! What is today's personal goals? Stick to my workout plan even though it's Friday Mood…

I'm doing Beginner Shred too! Six days in. I've done lots of JM workouts in the past and plan to do more in the future, so would happily be your partner in crime!

Hi Rachel, feel free to add. I'm 24 and looking to lose about 20lbs. I also struggle more with the diet side of things.

Hi everyone, glad to see you are all still going strong! Just completed workout 4 for the second time, and have to say that I actually don't mind workouts 3 and 4! Makes me feel more positive about the dreaded 5 and 6... I am going to be facing my first BR scheduling challenge this weekend as am off to stay with family for…

Just completed workout 3! Forgot how much I HATE plank-ups :(

@Clo747 Thanks, it has mostly gone away now, think it was a trapped nerve, and the advice for that is to move as much as possible, luckily! Skipped my run on Wednesday but have managed to complete all BR workouts this week. Week 2 down, scared for week 3/4 which are so much more out of my comfort zone!

This sounds like exactly what I need, would love an invite :)

Hi everyone, nice to have so many motivated people doing this at the same time! I have had some bad luck and woke up with a pain in my lower back this morning, which seems to be getting worse and worse! :( Not sure if it's a pulled muscle or something completely unrelated to working out, but it's making me flinch when I…

If it were that simple, then significantly fewer people would be overweight. I have always struggled with willpower around food, but I have found pre-planning to be the best way to stop myself over-eating. I plan all my meals for the week every weekend, create a shopping list and do one big shop, therefore I buy and cook…

I'm not surprised! That sounds like more than enough exercise for one day! Completed Workout 2 today, and still feeling motivated. I'm planning to go for a run tomorrow instead of the Cardio 1 workout as I like to get outside for a change. SatiaRenee - Sounds like you have a good plan! I know for me that when I give myself…

Fab! :-) Wasn't expecting anyone to reply! I was actually hit with a sudden burst of motivation today and decided to start this eve, despite it being mid-week. I feel so much better for it though, and really looking forward to tomorrow's workout! Making the most of feeling smug with these easier workouts as I know the pain…

Thank you both for your responses. The main reason I am specifically looking for a 'programme' to follow is because I am pretty busy and stressed at the moment and just want something I can press play on a few times a week, rather than thinking too hard about it all. Just looking for something to avoid losing muscle rather…
