The calorie intake is based on your activity as well as how much you want to loose/gain a week. Go into MY HOME and then GOALS to edit or see them. If your activity level says you sit at a desk all day its not going to allow more calorie intake even if you've lost your weight goal.

They say running can be bad for your knees. I think it's only bad for you if a person doesn't run regularly. The body is a lot of weight to push onto joints if they aren't use to it.
