OK, I wasn't really saying anything about you per se. And it really sounds like with what you said this time we completely agree here: "I do what I need to do to get my programmed workout done on any given day. I do always eat pre-game when I need to hit 100%." I'm not saying its always necessary, just helps when…

Yup it all depends, we can argue about both what is fasted and what is maximal and what is too much energy expenditure pointlessly since its different for everyone and under what circumstances. I have only experienced low blood sugar once after heavy extended lifting and included it as an example, once out of decades of…

Ha, I just answered a similar topic so I'll adapt it, first short and sweet: if you are just working out to put another workout in and not maxing out, it should be OK if you are relatively healthy in all other aspects. But if you are trying to do maximum effort/lifts, I'd say don't exercise fasted, have some food in you a…

If you are managing it fine, you probably aren't doing the max you could be lifting then (what one considers "heavy" varies), or you don't lift with very much intensity, or many lifts at a time, or you don't do very much weight compared to your body size (you aren't using all that much energy compared to your size and…

Salad and baked chicken is a staple for me too, but yes, much easier to get your nutrition on more calories. When you cut them low, every food has to "count", but you still count with the larger meals, just can fit in some fluff (not too much since I keep high protein to reduce muscle loss). I am also larger than you two,…

You can do it, especially if you set yourself up for burning a large amount of calories from exercise as it sounds like you do. If so, you can actually eat the same as you are currently or even a little more, and still lose, I find it is much easier this way to lose weight. I have a hard time reducing my food too much, so…

No, drinking green tea will not cause liver damage, you did not read your article. It clearly states drinking the tea does *NOT* cause liver damage, but extracts may. Drink away on the green tea, there are many health benefits in tea form! (just read your own article again, and do more searching if you dont know this)

Its definitely not. *IF* it could help at all, its still too expensive for what you get, just look around if you are sold on and must have certain ingredients, and cost compare. But, also it seems some reports of toxicity would make me advise anyone strongly against the (at best) expensive gamble of taking them.

He also has to weigh and measure exactly his liquids, which nobody does. Drinks are more than calories, but water weight as well, if you hold on to more of that water, your weight goes up. Just say you had a bowl of watermelon every meal, you could do a calculation of the calories and expect to lose a half a pound for the…
-
Oh and of course, that is assuming your TDEE and weight and intake measurements were so precise as to calculate no net effect positive or negative, and you know exactly how much water to drink to cause no change in weight, which is absurd and probably almost never true (on purpose at least). So assuming no inflammation or…

Oh there is a definitive answer: Yes. If water and other resources were not limited, and the increased connective tissue, blood serum and transport water etc used to transport, store and surround the remaining calories after digestion plus the stored fat itself add up to over a pound. Will it happen? Thats a different…

No, if you are a runner, you will be all front, no rear. The rear becomes other-front, and sometimes kittens...or something. Just don't sit on your kitten for too long. Hope that helps explain all the questions, I am an MFP expert.

Is he sitting on a tesla tower? Position of the metal rod and possible fracturing sharp glass with possibility of massive medieval level pain makes this so cringeworthy... but the dog is just embarrassed.

Are you related to someone famous?

While this is true, it does not change the fact that this alone shoots down the entire idea. Yeah you added additional factors too, so what? Now you need to prove that by adding antibiotics and hormones that protein over 40-70g/day causes health problems, where it didn't before. Go on... And even one could prove this, you…

Geraldo Rivera!?!?! So is this where you find the cousins sharing a husband to fight it out on TV?
-
All that is instantly shot down by our ancestors through the hunter/gatherer phase, who ate animals for food most heavily, even wild berries that have not gone through hybridization have significant protein and lesser carbs in them, for certain they would have gotten "too much" protein according to this article, but there…

RIP Mikaela, you will be missed.

How is going off "confidence" any better or different than "looks"? Its just as "shallow" as you are judging a "looks" girl as being.
-
Yeah this happens a lot online, and its strange, its very common to want to compare to the same gender and there is a lot of logic behind it, women wanting to hear from similar women doesn't generate all the "OMG you are sexist" type replies (and they really shouldn't), but men seeking posts from other men do. On average a…

First pounds are always the easiest, especially if you are more overweight than you are. Try for an estimate of your healthy weight for height: http://www.calculator.net/bmi-calculator.html

There is your answer. You ARE losing weight, but you have a +5-8lb "exercise inflammation" buffer. So, keep at the exercise, knowing you could be 5-8lbs less when you stop due to inflammation etc, keep that in mind as your "true weight" if it helps, and keep going! From what little I know of you and what you reveal here,…

Yeah its still useful, as a loose guide over a large population, which is why we still use it. It is also useful for people who have no idea what reference range is average, which includes many people in this thread. There is no way a 5'4" person is going to have +33lbs of "big bones" added onto 147lbs...it just doesn't…

I can fluctuate 5lbs in 24hrs, imagine if you did that? Half a pound...thats well within scale error, step on it a slightly different angle and it will say something different, I'd be very happy with that. Keep on working out. ;)

Unfortunately, #1 is wrong for I'd say most people. Most will get sore with a certain level of incremental increase, which is different amounts for all people...you cant reliably say how much, its more trial and error. And you get sore many many more times than the first times you go through a movement, it is increasing…

I'm having difficulty picturing 90% protein out of this. What would be an example grams for the day or per meal for carbs, fats, protein?
Yesterdays was (day) Fat: 42.1 Carbs: 138.2 and Protein: 6,899.3
Awesome bodybuilding chicken with Jupiter density muscles! Where can I get some?? This was a fun thread…

I drink a few Ironhorse 22oz IrishDeath beers and have fish, pub cheese and crackers. Detoxes all those bad feelings from the week right out of my system.

That's mean! Why were you lengthening your dog?

Crickets are a great source of protein and they are low cal!
