To gain 2 pounds, you would have to eat 7000 calories ABOVE your BMR. So unless you ate 44 hot wings and 11 slices of pizza, it's all the sodium making you retain water weight.

I think it's an awesome goal! Can I give you one piece of advice? Don't wait until xx lbs to sign up for a race, pick your date next year and sign up right now. Had I not signed up for a race, I would have given up on week 4 of c25k. That was the only thing that kept me from throwing in the towel. I start running around…

/\ This. I took it for a couple of months with no difference in my weight loss. It did give me a little boost of energy...nothing that a cup of coffee wouldn't do. There is no magic pill, sorry. Eat right and exercise...even when everything in you doesn't want to.

Banana with one piece of toast with peanut butter. I can't do honey or jam...anything sweet seems to give me indigestion when I'm running. Anything more than that and I get a side stich. Good luck on the run, I've always wanted to try one. :drinker:
