Totally wondered where that was going, glad I stuck with it! LOL

1.) How old are your children and how many do you have? (share names if you wish) 4 children, 17,9, and twins who are 6 2.) Will you be planning to have more kids in your future? No, I think 4 is plenty ;-) 3.) How was your pregnancy/delivery? Sicker than crap with them all but carried them all 38 weeks or more, even my…

Anyone can add me, I love to be encouraged and to encourage others!

Feel free to add me!

Everyone is probably going to tell you plain water, but I get tired of plain water sometimes. I have never been a big Gatorade fan so I found a recipe that seems to work well for me. 8 oz, pure cranberry juice. Make sure it is no sugar added. Then add 64 oz of water into a pitcher and stir. Drink through out the day, I…

New to the group and fairly new to running. Started running in Feb. 2012, ran my first half marathon in May. Just signed up for a 15.5 mile trail run in Ohio. Pretty excited! Hoping the next event will be a full marathon! Excited to meet other runners!

You might be a runner if you just realized an evening meeting is going to keep you from getting a run in, so you concoct a lie to leave work early so you can run and shower before the meeting!

Cut into "chips" or "fries" spray with a little Olive Oil spritz, sprinkle with taco seasoning, and bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes. Delicious!

Here are some good links for inspiration. I generally try to follow the 80/20 rule, eat 80% clean and the other 20% sometimes "bad" or processed foods are consumed. We all have things we don't want to give up. http://paleopot.com/ & http://tgipaleo.com/ http://skinnyms.com/category/recipes/…

I eat a lot of lean meat and also eggs. I do have an occasional smoothie I just mix a small amount of almond milk, Vanilla whey protein powder, and frozen fruit. I have also found if you mix 1 egg and a scoop of protein powder you can put it on a griddle and eat it like a pancake. You can also use the same mixture to coat…

Great job, Keep Going!

Great job! I finished my first Duathalon- 2 mile run,15 mile bike,3.12 mile run 1st in my age group and 5th woman over all. I was pretty happy with that considering about 11 miles into the bike my seat came loose causing me to almost wreck and really tweak my low back but I made myself finish! My husband ran it with me and…

If you really can't kick the chocolate spread addiction, try stepping down to Chocolate Almond butter. It's 180 calories per 2 Tbs, compared to Nutella's 200. Its' 4g protein compared to 3 and its only 9g sugar compared to nutella's whopping 21 grams!

I started running in February, I've never really enjoyed running. I just started going longer and farther, but wasn't really "training" I had no idea what I should or shouldn't do before or during long runs. I hit the 10 mile mark and had only taken water 1 time during. I was whipped, but I decided then and there I could…

Same for me. If I have calories for it, I eat it. If I eat it and don't have calories for it, I work out. If I do go over my calories, I don't call it cheating, I call it splurging and I've only done that twice in 96 days!

Anyone is free to add me! I am here to get fit and plan to be on for the long hall.

I have a very open office and can not do many exercises discretely at work. However just to change it up I convert my desk to a standing station for 1 hour everyday. I put my keyboard and mouse on a box to raise it and tilt my monitor up. If I am slow with actual work during that hour I try to do chair squats as well. I…

Yesterday someone said to me "wow you look great' do you eat?" WOW talk about a backhanded compliment. YES I EAT, A lot actually. I'm toning. Sometimes people are rude!

I really enjoy reading everyone's comments, even the snarky ones. If running makes you feel good and helps you set and meet goals then DO IT! As with anything it can have a negative impact but there are also so many positives. I never thought of myself as a runner, but I realized I enjoy it. It's a few minutes a day alone…

I LOVE breakfast. I would rather eat a large breakfast and a smaller lunch. You can give me pro's and con's but people will eat how they eat. I'm not giving up my breakfast and I bet many aren't going to start eating it.

Ive been on everyday for 90 days and don't plan to stop. Its a huge motivation for me! So add me if you want :-)

I don't care to work out in groups, it's just not me. In the winter I do go run at the YMCA because my daughters are both on the swim team and I have to take them in 4 times a week for practice anyway, but I NEVER lift weights there. Partly because the guys all look at me like "why is a girl doing that?" Anyway, I do…

AWESOME JOB!!!! GOOD FOR YOU!

Today is my last day of Ripped in 30 week 1. Will rest Wed and the start Thursday with week 2. I really like it so far and am scared and excited for week 2. I decided last night to take some before shots, I haven't done pictures or measurements at all since starting to lose weight. I thought it's time I at least try to see…

I have a Trek hybrid, I have a WSD which of course wouldn't work for you ;-) but I LOVE my hybrid. I will never go back to a road bike again. I like mine because I had some back issues and the bending on a road bike really bothered me. No issues on my Hybrid.

I am also 5'7 and I plateaued at 143, dead stop for several weeks. I did a "reset" week were I ate a few more calories but continued to exercise. I have mixed my exercise up the entire time and also do strength training but I still hit that stand still. After the reset week I went back to eating fewer calories and I have…

Great job,58 pounds is awesome! I know where you are coming from. I have had 4 children, all natural but the last 2 were twins and boy did my stomach get large. I am probably fitter and more toned now than I have ever been, even when I was "skinny" BUT my stomach is still gross, and Pouchy. I have noticed some change by…

I usually try to do meal plans for my whole week for work and home. It's hard but it really helps. I plan to have left overs of a couple dinners to take as lunch. I also do salads. Sometimes I eat a low carb wrap but I eat very little bread so I usually don't do sandwich. I do put anything I'd eat on a a sandwich over…

Added you, Good luck!

My office is the same, cookies and donuts galore! I am lucky because I have another co-worker who is also dieting and we share healthy snacks and recipes and bring them. Seems easier to ignore the crap when I have someone else to share the good stuff with.
