Hey! I try to use up the calories I burn off so I'm always hitting my 1200 calorie goal. From what I've heard, it can definitely hurt your metabolism if you're body isn't getting at least 1200. When I started, I would eat my 1200, then workout and didn't bother to eat back my calories. I pretty much did this for the same…

Hey! I'm 5'2 also and I'm trying to get to 125. Right now I'm at about 143 so I have a bit more to lose. But my friend is actually getting married in July also and I'm a bridemaid so I'm trying to drop my weight by the same time. Would love be your buddy!!

I do the same thing!

Haha I have to agree with you. I once saw a MFP member post that their boss brought in breakfast sandwiches from a fast food restaurant for his employees. Aparently the boss asked why they didn't eat one, so the employee (MFP member) ate it anyway, then said they felt pressured into eating it. You're an adult. If you don't…

You look amazing! You should be so proud!

I'm 5'2 and my goal weight is 125-130. I've never been that size in my adult life so I don't know what I'll look like, but it has to be better than where I'm at now!

For a day or two, you would probably be fine but you have to be careful about not eating. I've been in situations (break-ups in particular) that really killed my appetite and I wouldn't have any desire to eat. Not good. Your body needs certain nutrients every day and if it's not getting them, it will start to fight back…

I lost a bald eagle and a guinea pig! Haha, fun post :)

You look incredible! Congrats on your weight loss! Your after picture is absolutely stunning!!

Hey all, I'm ready for my rest day today!...even though I'm going running with my boyfriend anyway hehe. After the holiday, I could feel my motivation slipping a bit. Is it just me, or is it a bit harder to get pumped to do the longer workouts? By the way, I actually just purchased the Beachbody Jump Mat which I was told…

I've been there girl, trust me. It's all about will power. It not going to be easy. It took some time for me to finally hit my "this is it" point. Do your research on healthy foods...tons of it. That's what helped me. I was obsessed with figuring out what was healthy for me. Now, eating right comes easily (sort of). You…

Quick question though...I did Fire 30 on Monday and Thursday. After both workouts, my back was really sore the next day. Did anyone else have that? I feel like it's my muscles that are sore, but I can't quite tell if it's my muscles or if I actually hurt my back. I'm going to go with muscles...and hope I end up with a sexy…

You look amazing!! I hope my belly looks like that when I reach my goal! Great work!

amwalcott - awesome accomplishment! congrats!! I just finished Fire 30 / stretch 10 for the second time. I was able to keep up with the moves a bit better this time around . The main thing I want to improve on are my jumps...I don't get too high off the ground, so I'm going to keep pushing. I'll be doing Fire 55 EZ…

I can't imagine how good that must feel! Congrats!!

You look amazing!! I want my tummy to look like yours! I was wondering how long it took before you started seeing results? Was your diet pretty strict? Thanks so much for sharing!!

That's awesome! I'm so impressed by your confidence and drive to lose the weight and prove all the skeptics wrong  WTG!!

You look fantastic! Such an inspiration!! The giveaway is a pretty cool idea

Ohhh if I could get myself out of bed before work to do it, I totally would. But I like to stay up late and I need my beauty sleep  I work out after work, generally around 6:30ish. But last night I didn't do it until 8:30pm. It varies for me depending on how my day goes. I'll definitely be working out earlier on…

Yes, it's so frustrating! Barefoot seems like a good plan...I actually threw my shoes off 20 minutes into the workout b/c it was keeping me from doing the moves properly. Maybe the barefoot shoes are actually a good idea!

Thanks iWaffle! The FT4 looks pretty good to me. Thanks you everyone for the suggestions!!

Did my first workout last night! My shoulder muscles are sore this morning so I'm thinking it's working. I felt a little nausea after the second firedrill, which is weird b/c I work out fairly regularly but I'm hoping its b/c I put it all my effort. So far so good, can't wait to do today's workout! It's too early to tell…

Hildar -- You look amazing!! Looks like it's really paid off for you. Thanks for sharing!

Good to know! That makes me feel better! I figure whether I'm doing the moves perfectly, or if I end up just flailing around, I'll still be working out haha

Starting TF today when I get off of work. I can't wait! I'm a little nervous b/c I'm slightly uncoordinated, but I'm hoping I'll get through it! Wish me luck

Hello all  My name is Amanda and I'll be starting Turbo Fire on Monday (8/27/12)! My goal of course to lose some pounds, get stronger and more lean. I'm kind of glad this is a long program because I want this to be a life change and not a quick fix! I do, however, have a short term goal that's motivating me right…

It seems like you're doing a great job so far! Don't be discouraged if you gain back a few pounds here and there. It has happened to me plenty of times. The key is to not stress over it or give up. Just keep doing what you're doing. My problems were weekends. At the end of a week of eating healthy I would be down and lb or…

Awesome, congrats! I finally got below my weight on my license too! It's 10lbs over my actual weight. Such a good feeling!
