If you are referring to soreness after the run you may try foam rolling. I do this regularly and it definitely helps. If it is during the run I would slow the pace a little. Great job getting started and have fun. :)

I agree with the posters above. Making small changes is much easier than trying to change everything at once. Maybe you focus on adding more water like SueHolt3 said and when that becomes normal you add something else like walking more each day. Also go slow like livingleanlivingclean suggested. It will take longer to see…

Hi. :) I've been at my goal weight (I guess) for a while but like you I'm on here daily. I'm 40, been married almost 22 years and have 3 kids (20, 17 and 12). I'm all for motivation without negativity, I agree that it doesn't seem helpful. You can add me if you would like to.

As said above, don't be embarrassed. Most of us here have been there. Lost, gained, lost, gained. The important part is that your back at it. Feel free to add me if you would like to.

I weigh myself every morning. I think as long as it doesn't stress you out it's fine. I accept that it fluctuates day to day and I'm ok with that.

Exactly this! It sounds like you are working hard and trying to eat right. Although I have to say that 1350 calories seems low for all the exercise you are doing. Your body might be trying to hold on to everything it can get because it thinks it's starving. Relax (easier said than done I know) and give it time. Good luck.

Well I do have days that I run 13 miles BUT I have 3 kids and work full time so I understand trying to find time and I'd be happy to be your friend if you want to add me. ;) Oh, and I'm 40

I'm not trying to lose any more, just maintain. But I'm on here daily and you can add me if you would like to. :)

Great job!! You have obviously done a lot of work and made great changes and progress. Keep it up.

I agree with all above. To much to soon and your likely to injure yourself. Been there done that and trust me it isn't fun. But besides looking up a plan and accepting that you might walk I think you should concentrate more on the fun and pride of the whole situation. When it's done don't look back and think "Aw man, I…

I yo-yo dieted for years before I finally hit the "It's not a diet, it's a lifestyle" area. I think changing my mindset was huge! Whenever I thought of food as bad for me or off limits I wanted it more and would end up binging on it and that would usually be followed by the "F**k it!" attitude. Now I let myself have…

I love it! I don't personally play it but my 3 kids and my husband do. They have been walking a TON! :D I turn on Map My Walk, they turn on Pokemon Go and then we head off. They have been walking for hours without the normal "I'm tired" ,"How far are we going?", "I'm bored", etc. Although I have to say between my normal…

I drink strong black coffee all day long. Probably way to much of it. :)

I have to agree with the post above. Some times your tired, it sucks, you want to be done, etc. but you do it anyway. No one can do it for you. You can read all the motivational quotes and stories but in the end you are the only one that can make yourself do it. Good luck. :)

I will be 40 in August and I'm on here daily. :)

I will be 40 in a couple months and I understand the struggle. You can add me if you would like to.

That's awesome! Great job!

I can be hard, just take it one day at a time. Feel free to add me if you would like to. Good luck. :)

You should definitely see a doctor. I totally get where your coming from on not going and I'm speaking from experience. Last summer I hurt my ankle on a run and continued to run about 2.5 miles home in pain..... then I walked on it for over a month telling my husband "It's fine, I think I just pulled something". I finally…
