Debi- Don't forget, with you doing something like the 30 day shred, you are building muscle! If I were in your shoes, I would stay away from the scale and just focus on the visual/physical results. You might find yourself sitting at 117 or even 120lbs, but toned!

Drink lots of water and avoid added salt. I also agree about trying to eat the calories to maintain your goal weight. 1200 calories is hard to maintain for a lot of people I think (not everyone...) WTG!!! I'm so happy for you. Your weight loss will taper off, but I find I feel really motivated as long as the scale goes down. Even just a few tenths of a point. My weight this morning was 221.4 down from 222.6 last Sunday. That's 1.2 lb loss. I'll take it.

Did you happen to find out (if you've been to that dr. before) what your previous weight there was?? That would give you a clearer picture of weight loss. other than that, I agree that it was just a difference .in scales

I'm 5'2. Currently 221 lbs and a size 18. My goal is a size 12 (10 is the smallest I think I'll like) and TONED. Whatever the weight is doesn't really matter to me, though I picture its somewhere around 140.

In the other thread is fine :) I just happened to have this one up when I posted mine. A little better today. My sore throat is up to my ears (happens everytime) but otherwise I'm pretty good. Might try some after I eat to see if it takes some of the pain/swelling down.
