I'm no expert, but I have heard that it can take 6+ months for skin to tighten up after losing weight. Some loose skin may never go away, but it is possible that it will tighten more with time...(and lots of water, and weights).

There is definitely a difference. Great work. I know for me, my stomach/hip/thigh are the very last place to lose. As I get closer to my goal weight, I am noticing big changes in those areas, where they didn't change much in the beginning. Keep it up!

Hey, valid concern. As you can see, everyone is just so different and its so hard to tell what will happen. I am 24 years old, and I am 5'5" and was at around 220-230 at my heaviest. After my first kid, I worked hard and dropped down to about 155 lbs. Then I got pregnant and went back to 210. After my second child, I was…

Try increasing your calories at a slower rate. You will probably still gain a little over time, but it shouldn't be as drastic. Like someone else mentioned, maybe only increase 50 calories per week. So if you are eating 800 calories this week, try 850 next week and 900 the next week. It will take time, but it'll help your…

I wasn't sure if bodyweight exercises were considered "lifting heavy". Thanks for clearing that up.

As most anyone will tell you, a big factor is also how quickly you lose the weight. If you lose it very fast, then the skin doesn't have as much time to adjust and there may be loose skin. If you lose weight slowly then your skin has more time to rebound. But also need to be staying really hydrated, and keeping your skin…

Congrats on your loss so far. I'm sure there is a difference though it can be hard to see it on ourselves. We are our own worst critics. One thing I have noticed with my own weight loss is that the closer I get to my goal, the more dramatic I see the results. For example, I couldn't see much difference from when I was 200…

You look great! How tall are you?

I am 5'5 and weigh 160. Bust: 37" Waist: 30" Hips: 39.5 Very interesting to compare these. Maybe I'm closer to my goal than I thought. I am shooting for another 15 lbs or so.

I'm not going to stay you should get more than 1200 calories, but I'm also not going to say that only eating 1200 calories is good for everyone. Everyone has different needs and needs to figure out what is best for your own body. I think so much of it depends on what you are eating. 1200 calories can actually be a lot of…

I love this thread and admire all the confidence from everyone. I have never worn a bikini in public. I've lost over 50 pounds but still not quite sure if I'm ready for this in public yet. But I'll at least try sharing a picture. I don't really like the suit, it's just the cheapest one I could find to use for progress…

You can also use cauliflower for rice. It's quickly becoming something I eat frequently. Also, I've heard you can use plain greek yogurt for sour cream. I haven't tried that one yet, but plan on trying it in a recipe this sunday. Humm...I know there are so many others, I'm just having trouble thinking of them right now!

Hey! Feel free to add me as a friend. My name is Bobbi. I am also 5'5". I also like seeing people who are my same height as it is a little easier to compare to. In January, I weighed around 210. And as of this morning, I was 155. My original goal was 148, but I think I'd like to lose a little more than that. I'd be ok with…

You are so beautiful! (In every picture!) Crazy, cause we are SO similar. In January I started around 210, and as of yesterday I was about 155! Great work! You look amazing!

Great job! You look fabulous! You'll be to your goal in no time!
-
Wow! You look awesome! What a change, especially from the second to the last picture. This really makes me excited. I am about to your starting weight, and my goal weight was about 148. I would LOVE to see even somewhat similar results with those 10 pounds. Great work!

I personally did it 6 days a week (took every Sunday off), plus I did about an hour of cardio 5-6 days a week as well. The video alone just wasn't enough for me.

This looks amazing. I'm definitely going to have to try this. Any guess on the number of calories?

My question is related to running. I am running a 10K in 5 weeks and I have been training for it. My longest run so far is 5.5 miles, so I know I should be able to finish the run, even though my pace is super slow. I am also planning on a half marathon in a few months. My question is...while running long distances, do I…

Holy crap! That is amazing! I am running my first 10K in 5 weeks, and if I could do it in less than 70 minutes, I'll consider it a good time. Great job!

You look fantastic! Nice work! And your little girl is adorable! Also, I love your last outfit. Is that a dress, or a skirt? I want it! I love the blue!

Her videos are designed to do almost every day. I did her videos Monday through Saturday, rested Sunday, then did the next level Monday through Saturday, etc. There isn't any super heavy lifting so it's ok to go every day. The weight training program I just started requires a day of rest (from lifting) between each…

This week I started "New Rules of Lifting for Women" and will be lifting heavy weights 3 times a week. Although the book doesn't recommend it, I will also be continuing my cardio while I am doing NRL4W. I am running my first 10K at the beginning of June so I have to keep my running training progressing as well. Then at the…

Wow! You look incredible! I'm in the 160s and feel like I don't look that good. (But I'm also a lot shorter). You look great, keep up the amazing work. Can't wait to see what you look like when you reach your goal.

I actually did a post back in the day with my 30DS results. Here is the link to the results: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/523361-30-day-shred-results-w-pictures
