  • I was an emotional eater and still am to a point, but I was informed that my blood sugar levels were do high i was almost diabetic! On top of that I reached the highest weight I have ever been in my life! These things scared the hell out of me. But honestly still wasn't enough to really push me. What helped me was that my…
  • You are doing excellent! That's very impressive! Congratulations!
  • Although you cannot force him to do what he refuse to do, but you can set an example. Not having junk food in the house helps. Make sure there is only healthy food and drinks available. Cook very healthy meals. Get your family up and active. If you have children interest them in outdoor activities or sports. Take them on…
  • Happens to me ALL the time. My sister in law gets mad at me for staying under, but I can't eat any more! What do I do force the food down? I make sure i have multivitamins daily just in case though :)
  • I am not on any specific low carb diet. But I do hunt for the lowest calories, sodium, and carbs in all the items I purchase so it does become low carb. I have somewhat of a carb addiction so it was difficult the first week but once I came to read all the labels at the grocery store and track everything here, it really…
  • Yes housework is listed under cardio exercises
  • I had that for a few days. I would just drink more and more water. after a couple of days it passed.
  • That's excellent! You've done a great job!
  • Thank you :)
  • That is sound advice! Thanks for adding it. You are correct. People must do what is best for their own health
  • Welcome. It's good to start with smaller goals. they are easier to achieve and give you a sense of pride when you get there. There are many very nice people here who are very supportive.
  • First, talk to the pediatrician and see what he suggests. Also there are vitamin gummies and drinks. Also slowly introduce new foods and make it a rule he must try them because he may like them. You can also change the products you use. Switch peanut butters and other foods he does eat to healthier brands. Look for low…
  • What is SAHM?
  • The first thing to do is consult your doctor. make sure there is nothing else wrong with your body. Also, pay attention to what it is you are eating. Maybe you need more complex carbs like veggie and fiber. Maybe you are dehydrated and need more water. Maybe you are not getting enough sleep. Then again maybe you do need…
  • Welcome. That is quite a goal you've set. Are you willing to put the work in to achieve it? This is a great site. everyone is very friendly and supportive. I'm sure you will find all the help you will need to get to your goal. I would suggest setting some smaller goals as well. Make sure you take full advantage of the food…
  • I just posted a before and now pic...what do you think
  • Welcome. I am a 5'4" mom as well :). I haven't reached the 130s yet either. Sounds like you are on the right track. Make sure you document all food and drinks and all exercise. You will notice a difference faster than you think if you eat right and exercise daily.
  • Welcome! Congrats on your decision to get fit! Sounds like you have a wonderful daughter. I have many kids myself. I have noticed that if I look up healthy recipes it help. I replace ingredients in my favorite foods to get the lowest sodium, carb, and calorie levels possible and most of the time the food still tastes…
  • I'm home with my son daily.
  • I think it tastes funny
  • Try this: Fiber Choice chewables. Get more fiber and water in your diet. Also eat lots of fruits and veggies to fill yourself up. Eat a lot of food but cut the sodium, carbs, fat, and cals and you won't feel as hungry. I eat more now than I did before and yet don't reach my calorie goal most days. Plus exercise helps kill…
  • Get your blood sugar levels checked. They may be dipping too low. Also you may be dehydrated or not eating enough vitamins. Try a multivitamin. Have you been on Aderol long or is it new to you?
  • eat a little more fiber and drink more water and hopefully that will flush out the bloating. If not try something like Gas X or Beano
  • What is the challenge?
  • Try keeping a water bottle always with you and constantly full. Drink as often as possible and if you need some flavor theres always different flavors of crystal light. But you've got to drink more because you are dehydrated and that can become dangerous.
  • Use baby powder on any area that might rub before your workout and take a cool shower or bath after to calm the skin :)
  • So I've lost 11 pounds since I've begun here. Most of it was water weight but still... I eat under the 1200 almost every day. My sister in law says thats way too little. But I am not hungry enough to eat more...
