I wish I could remember... probably 4 or 5 years? And that's my problem, I never know what to get. Sometimes cheap is good, but sometimes it's not. I just took a shot and failed again. Reviews online of scales are always a pain and they always vary so it's like you need luck to find a good one.

Nope it's a hard flat surface in my bathroom. Back a lonnnng time ago I used to have one on carpet but I learned that was a big NO, and not to do that. But appreciate the advice.

yeah I tend to average myself or just use the number that shows more lol
-
the only reason I even noticed it was because my last scale did it all the time, and I used to be heavy into weighing myself in the past.. like daily. So I'd notice everything. I bought this new scale and it did the same thing. I since have gotten better at not weighing myself so much but also know the scale is floppy like…

wish I could just not stress over it. I'm currently teaching myself a healthier version of what I used to be. I know as long as I'm losing weight it's good, but the numbers help a lot. Especially where I'm at currently. I bought it like this, and the reason I replaced my old one is because it did that too. So I guess now…

I have a digital scale by the way.

Unfortunately no. Would love to but can't do it. Did just change batteries last week.

Don't get discouraged. I too have a cardiac issue and I have to limit myself somewhat. I had heart surgery the fall of 2015, and before then I wasn't even allowed to work out at all. Just keep focusing on what you've been doing, and take the advice given about the deficits. No one has any idea if it's really 200 or 400..…

I appreciate that. It's just within minutes.. even seconds that it changes. Nothing to drink or eat. No different anything besides step on, step off. Lol
-
Well it's within minutes. And it's hard to be "done" because I've attempted that before and I'll see one number, weigh myself a week later and I'm or 5lbs heavier than the last. So I have to do it multiple times to maybe get an idea where I'm at. Thanks though! I unfortunately put it back on plus some so I'm pushing on…

Scared to "pick a number " cause it varies within like 6lbs. I don't want it to show too low of a number and then for weeks I don't lose weight or something because I chose the wrong number lol. I just replaced the battery last week because it died. The scale is in the same exact spot in my bathroom, leveled flar surface.…

It's within 6lbs though roughly... which is why I'm so irritated over it. It's older so I can't return it. And I'm too broke for another one lol

I totally understand people wanting to help save someone from possibly overestimating their burn.. but I swear this whole "400 calories is a lot for an hour walk" or "I don't even burn that much just waking an hour" It's not just a walk. There's incline involved. That pushes your heart rate up quite significantly. There…

Measure once a month. Weigh myself once a week(ish). I lost 90lbs before, so I totally understand that my weight is going to fluctuate throughout the day. I always seem to find my "happy number" in the morning when I wake up, for the same reasons as you said, so whenever I do weigh myself, it's then. But the number will…

That sounds soooooooo good! thank you!

Healthy way is key. Just gotta focus on that.

I know the feeling!!!! Due to verrrrrrrry bad habits... I lost 90lbs. Unfortunately I didn't keep any of it off and gained way more than I lost in the first place. Every time I try to start up again I do well for a few.. then either I talk myself into not eating or eating everything just like you said. I "started dieting…

I had a bunch of sauteed squash and zucchini today... you could pretty much add any vegetable you'd want. I was planning on adding mushrooms but my mushrooms went bad. But it totally filled me up and was delicious!

And I know I can do it again, it's just.. it's hard knowing I gained 147 pounds... I gained a whole freaking person.. but…

I hate saying this, cause I'm as ashamed as could be. Fat all my life... lost 90 pounds back in 2008 and hit my goal of 125... In january of this year I was at 272. I gained 147 pounds in 6 years. It's hard to admit it, and it hurts a lot. But I can proudly say I'm 247... I'm moving on down. Goodluck with everything. It…

Thanks for all the responses!!! I'm not on the computer much, but I use the APP on my phone a lot, but the APP makes it so I can't see the responses on the forum. So sorry for the delay but thanks a bunch!!! And to the person who asked above this... YES, I had an issue with loose skin when I lost all my weight the first…
