<3 Yoga! On a normal gym visit I'll do strength, cardio and yoga within 70-90 minutes since I like to vary up my workout. Some days may be light cardio, heavy strength/heavy yoga or any variation of the 3. However I do find that by doing yoga 1st, then cardio, then strength, then more cardio, my body feels better after…

I love this thread. All joking aside, I would get mathematical on the calories in question. > How much is a serving of uncooked batter? > Estimate how much I licked. > Divide/multiply/subtract/add. Helps to know basic conversions, i.e. 30cc = 1 ounce, 8 ounces = 1 cup, 16 ounces/2 cups in a pound.

No harm, no foul. That's basically what I've been saying to him the past few weeks. Honestly that's why I'm at my wits' end and asking for advice. I'm just gonna keep pluggin away at making myself better for me and hopefully he'll see how much better I feel and look and then get on with his bad self. Again, thanks for all…

>.< If I didn't have trouble persuading him to do things that are beneficial to him, that would be easy. I even installed the app on his phone for him.

Thank you everyone for your support and suggestions. From what I gather, I'm being as supportive as I can. As for his work thing, a few of you have asked, he does get criticism from his superiors, and he gets made fun of from his coworkers. But when it comes down to crunch time he can pass the physicals. I just wanted to…

True. I just want him to want it before it's too late!

I understand completely - I try to be supportive, and I think I'm just at the point where it's going to get ugly! Yes ma'am, and he passes somehow. Physically he's about 5'8" and ~350lbs. He's also their best marksman, so I think there's a curve...

He can't take any snacks to work. And I do suggest things for us to do together: he went hiking with me ONE time. I ask him all the time to come to the gym with me, or to help do minimal stuff like clean the pool, rake the yard, etc... always with the same turn-down.

Funny thing happened at the gym this evening to me... Around 10:30p CST there was the MASSIVE blaring noise. I thought I had hit an alarm or something, then when I realized I wasn't even wearing the alarm on the chain-thingy. So then I thought it was a siren or something, like there was a massive attack nearby or huge…

Maybe tomorrow I'll hit the machines and weights before I step on the treadmill - thanks for the tip! And as for doing them different days, I always try to but my body ends up doing both the same day. I figure at least that's better than not doing anything at all!
