Using Other People's Negativity For Motivation
I know it's not nice to cash in on other people's misfortune for my own gain (or loss, in my case), but... I don't care. ;) My question to you is -> Have you ever used a negative thing that someone else is experiencing to turn it into something positive to keep you motivated? Sounds confusing. Let me give you an example.…

Name That Movie!
New game - name the movie the quote originates from. Please try not to cheat. Bonus points if you actually say the quote outloud... and yes, I'll know... To begin: "And the quarterback IS TOAST!" Go!

Damn you, frugality! *shakes fist at food*
I think one of my biggest problems with food is that I'm too frugal. Gym Etiquette - Super Stinky People
I know everyone sweats and creates delicious odors while working out... but HOLY CRAP there was the smelliest guy at the gym today. Wondering if anyone else on here has found a proper calculation for the calories burned. And, no I don't have a HRM. :( Not yet, though!

How do you help a loved one lose weight?
My husband is morbidly obese. He knows it. He always says he wants to lose weight, yet when I "push" him to do something healthy, he's not interested. I've learned to cook healthier at home so that at least I know when he eats meals here he's not eating something horrible. However, he's a cop on the night shift and so…

Cardio + Strength Training... or straight Cardio?
I prefer both. Usually on the same day. It's just what gets me through an hour and a half at the gym. I've heard people that swear by one or the other for weight loss. I understand it's a personal preference: Would I rather drop fat quickly without toning it, or would I rather drop fat less quickly but have a firmer body?…
