I keep a large bar of Godiva's Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt in my freezer. When I pack my lunches I take one square of it and put it in my lunch. It's only 50 calories per square and it takes care of that chocolate craving and the salt in it helps with my desire for chips. I also will sometimes pack a bag of light popcorn…

I take 50mg Atenolol and find it difficult to get my heart rate up. Although that is the whole reason I am on it because I have a tachycardic heart. So I'm not on it for BP issues. I haven't noticed any abnormal changes in muscle or joint pain. My only side effect from them is occasional blackouts from my BP going too low.

Wow, that's incredible. You've done very well and you look so happy and confident! On a random side note (and hopefully not too creepy), are you from Minnesota? The skyline in the lake picture looks really similar to a beach a couple miles from where I live.

I'm the same way but I set aside a day each month to cook a lot of meals that I pre-portion and freeze. To help with munching I chew gum or set out a bowl of grapes or something healthy to snack on. But this helps me when I need something quick and easy that's healthy. Right now I have spinach lasagna rolls and mini…

I'm contemplating trying FODMAPS but like you I'm wondering what can I eat during the elimination process. I've been trying to do this on my own but since I was diagnosed in May I've had so many flare ups and I haven't been able to figure my triggers.

I don't know about the elliptical. Does your machine track distance in miles? Mine doesn't so I wouldn't count it for me however I understand that there are those who prefer the elliptical because it's gentler on your joints so if you can figure out distance I would say sure. And I don't know anything about the crossramp…

Hi Gregory and Josie, welcome! My name is Leah and I'm in a similar boat. I'm not a runner but I would like to be. I recently just discovered a nature park a block from my house (I'm amazed at how well hidden it was!) and I'm looking forward to exploring it more.

For those saying don't do 1200, it's starvation, don't seem to know what you're talking about it. 1200-1500 is a respectable range for some women that have more sedentary lives. I'm on 800 by my doctor's orders (trying to figure out and mend a digestive disorder) and as long as I reach my macros set by him and my…

I'd be careful judging if you don't know the situation. My godson was really sick his first couple months of life. He was actually a pound under his birth weight at his 3 month check in when they finally decided to admit him to the NICU for observation. They discovered he wasn't digesting breast milk and so they put him on…
