I am 5' and 40 years old. I started this journey at 196.5, and I have lost 78.5 pounds. I am now 118, and this is my lowest weight as an adult. I had 130 as my first goal because I doubted that I could even get there, so what did it matter? At 130 I felt like I wanted to lose some more, so here I am. I am going to go to…

Log everything. You will make mistakes, but don't beat yourself up for them. Log it and leave it. Don't ever give up! You can do it!

All of my co-workers coughing and sneezing... the sound of my future head cold...

It IS a shame to "miss" your window for an item, but good that you have had such success!

A bagger at a local grocery store went on and on about how I looked like this girl from a specific episode of "Saved by the Bell." I went home and looked it up and it was the one where an overweight girl had a crush on Zack and he did not want to go to a dance with her. Guess who that guy thought I looked like? (Hint: it…

I never had a weight problem until I was in my mid twenties, so my self image is one of a thin person. I was in total denial about how large I had gotten. Now my body is starting to look more like my mental self-image!

Attitude is everything. Embrace the change and watch your life transform. Log every single bite and eventually you will wonder why you thought it was so hard.

I have never been a runner, but I want to be. I started the Couch to 5k program a few weeks ago. I am enjoying it so far, but I am really nervous that I won't be able to do it. So far I have been able to do it, though. I am not really resting on my rest days, but I am listening to my body and not pushing past what I feel…

You can do it! Don't give up! At 5' 0" and nearly 200 lbs I could only walk slowly for 10 minutes before feeling like I was going to die. I am still working on it, but 33.5 pounds lighter and MUCH healthier I can walk / jog for 4 miles!

Wow! What awesome results!

You can do it!
