I can't believe people would say that to you...okay, maybe I can cause people are rude but.... whatever makes you feel comfortable, stick with it. me? I prefer to have a little tan, but i am a pasty white girl, i have to take what i can get.

There is really no reason to say no completely. Instead of a full piece of pie, take a sliver. It'll curb the craving but you won't over indulge. When I go to parties, I get a lot of veggies and eat them all first and let them get in my stomach for a minute, than I am less hungry for everything else.

I typically stop it when my heart rate gets more normal. if I'm at the gym, I wait till I get out to my car and sit down (i leave the gym immediately after i work out, I don't shower or anything there) but if I take a walk around my apartment complex, i usually turn it off right away.

I would like to participate! My goals: 1) Get some sort of exercise in every single day. 2) Be more conscious of the fat grams in my diet. I don't promise to never go over, but I will watch better and pay more attention. 3) Make it to the gym at least once a week

Went nuts yesterday, I had pretty much two days packed into one. But it happens. I am back on track today and drinking lots of water! This is life, not prison!

I am at a 27 pound loss and am 5'0. I started at 227. I would say people starting saying things maybe around 15 pounds, but to be honest, I haven't had a ton of feedback, mostly just from immediate family and friends.

walking at an incline on a treadmill. but remember, if you are just starting out or not conditioned for heavy exercise, you want to be careful of what you do. don't push yourself TO HARD just to get your number. 530 is a lot to burn quickly.

I found the C25K program to be a nice ease into running (if you are interested in running again). It starts you off really slow and builds you up. Takes about 30 minutes or so.

I find the exercise to be off more often than the food, which is why i got a HRM

What about some nuts (ha!, yes I'm 12 deep down)? Just watch the fat content on some of them.
