I have only gotten sick once during a workout and mostly because it was a million degrees and I was overheating. When I weight train, once every other week I go until muscle failure (drop sets). Where I physically can't do anymore, where every fiber in that muscle group is screaming.

It is not necessarily about number, weight has a lot to do with it too. Also different squats work different muscles. You are also going to want to do more that just squats, also try lounges and glute bridges.

I started eating 1200 calories and doing a lot of cardio. Once I trimmed down I began to eat about 1500 calories and weight train to build lean muscle.

I have never gone by the scale, your weight can fluctuate a lot. If your clothes are looser and you are feeling better it is working. it might take a little to see the scale reflect that. Keep it up.

Post workout I have Whey protein. I mix it wither with milk or water depending on my calories for the day. You just need to find a flavor you like. I use Elite rich chocolate.

I dont have a program but the majority of my friends are body builders and I lift with them. They have given me some great advise and helped me with my form.

You are the type of person that I would want as a personal trainer, some one to kick my *kitten* and hold me accountable. I tell my friend that when we workout if I am not cussing him out or giving him the stink eye when we are done he hasnt done a good job because I was not working hard enough.

I also agree with adding a variety of ab exercises. I tend not to feel it as much with the machines. But if it is working for you stick with it and modify as needed.

Being honest with yourself is the first step. Now you need to be honest with your logging. I know you can do it this time, dont give up, There will be hard times but the weight will come off, if you eat a caloric deficit and exercise. Dont make too many changes at once, start slow.

90% of the time I am the only girl in the free weight section. If the other women get off the cardio equipment they only use machines. Don't fear the free weights ladies!!!! I love lifting and the results it produces.
