I understand your frustration, you need to find what works best for your body. Are you carefully logging all of your food and exercise? I would do am cardio on an empty stomach then lift in the pm.

First of all make sure they are certified, then see if they will do a free consult. This will give you an idea of how they train. You need to see if your personalities fit. Some trainers are more intense and will push you harder than others. Also some will focus on cardio and others on strength. I make sure you get…

Rest days are critical for your body to build and repair muscles that you have broken down during training. I say this but I hate rest days and have to force myself to take them.

I agree measurements are a great way to see progress I also recommend talking progress pictures no matter how much you hate them. It gives you a great visual of the changes.

Women tend to focus on their butt and thighs that is why they like leg day. Men like tshirt muscles, it is also what women like to see on a fit guy (arms abs and chest). Never heard a woman say "wow that guy has nice legs" But this does not mean men should skip leg day.

I agree it is all about lifting heavy and then diet to cut, but it is not a sustainable look. If you want to look like a fitness model you will probably have to hire a professional trainer not just one at your gym but one who specializes in getting women ready for shows. training is easy the diet is the most challenging. I…

you shouldn't look to others for motivation, look to them for inspiration. Dont do it because someone calls you out, do it because you want it. CT Fletcher videos are always motivating for gym rats

That is what I did, I am currently about 16% and see some definition in my abs but not what I want I am thinking i need to be down to 14 to see what I want.

It depends on your goals, to increase muscle you can not eat a caloric deficit and absolutely need the protein. If you want to lose fat then the protein is not as important but eating at a deficit is. I always meal prep, it helps me from making poor choices because I am hungry and dont want to wait for something to cook. I…

Fat loss will help but I am not sure if that is what you are asking for. To shape your arms you are going to want to work on bis and tris. Triceps (under part of your arm) are where the majority of you are strength comes from there are many different exercises you can do to build muscle. Some examples are dips, kick backs,…

Can you clarify the muscle? are you talking about biceps?

I can do 5 pull-ups and that has taken me a long time to accomplish. As the other members have said most people can not do a pull-up. But id you work on it with the assisted machine, bands and bodyweight rows you will build up the muscles in your back needed to do a pull-up. It would not be one of my first goals, I…

Change your diet. I also take L-carnitine which helps your body burn fat more efficiently.

It will happen give it time. I recommend making small changes, drastic ones often lead to failure. Also dont weigh yourself everyday I only do it once a week. Your weight will fluctuate and you will drive yourself nuts.

After, I can do that am empty stomach stuff. Mornings and I dont get along. But try a couple ways and see what works best for you. I have time to spend an hour and a half at the gym not everyone does.

I feel the same way. I am never happy even though I have accomplished so much, there is always room for improvement. Keep up the good work and I bet you are more beach ready than you think :)

I love being short, men find my size very attractive. I have been told it makes them feel very masculine around me. Down side is having to have almost every pair of pants tailored.
