Just another boring one - first initial, maiden name and year I was born. Used this one for as long as I can remember.

I run 4-5 days a week, running 3-5 miles. I am working up to a 10K distance and have been taking it a little slow. I run my second 5K this weekend and an 8K in mid-July. Only been running since January 2012 and started with the C25K, loved it.

If you can Fleet Feet is well worth getting fitte for running shoes. Running shoes and work out shoes are two different animals and your knees will appreciate the difference, as will your feet. Asics makes a very good running shoe if you are still unable to get to your nearest Fleet Feet. I LOVE my Asics. I loved the C25K…

I am sorry you have had such horrible experiences with some of those MFP friends. WOW if some of them looked at my diary they would flip. I log everything and that includes my almost daily wine, liquor or beer. I also exercise almost daily. I hope you have a supportive group around you now and good for you to delete those…

I love seeing my collar bones! I know I am on track when I can see them. I think it was at my 7 or 8 lbs lost mark. I am in a plateau right now, but the inches are still coming off.

Yes, I would get one. Especially, for an IT band injury. I am fortunate that my dr is also a long distance runner and with much discussion I almost had one in my right knee. We chose to work a little bit more with additional IT band stretches and that did the job. Are you new to running and/or is this a recent injury? PT…

You have certainly found the right place. I was always a starter but never a finisher. I committed myself to logging my food and the Couch 2 5K program and am now running 3-5 miles 4-5x a week and have entered a few races. It has gotten easier and easier and I love the MFP friends and support I have received. Please add…

check - I have always wanted to be a runner and now I am!! Love that I have accomplished this goal. Knowing I will be a healthy Nana, inspiring my children to stay healthy, being a sexy wife.

bump this for later. Fantastic list. I google potassium levels of food constantly. Surprisingly Coffee has a good amount.

Nothing heavy, nothing processed. It all tastes gross and makes me feel the same.

I completed C25K a few weeks ago. I never thought I would ever be addicted to running, but I am. I ran my first 5K April 28th and have signed up for another. In addition and I now using the "Bridge to 10K" app and have been running not less that 5 miles every other day and working on increasing my 5K speed on my off days…

The best advice given to me was to be in the middle of the pack when the race starts, don't run your best time during the first mile, HAVE FUN and if you have to walk, that is OK. I had ran a couple test 5k's prior to my actual race and was feeling pretty good. I actually beat my time from both of those tests. Sign up for…

I log it all, even my vitamins. I want to be sure I am eating enough protein, potassium, etc etc. A calorie is a calorie.

I have kept mine and write all the information about the race on the back, also. I have them in a drawer right now, but think I will eventually put them in a scrape book.
