I'm another one that's just decided to 'try again'...and for the first time throw some exercise into the mix.....I didn't interact on here a lot last time.....it seemed to involve offering a lot of support and getting faff all back in return.....maybe this time will be different....feel free to add me :smile:

I do both but to be honest the two do not work in tandem and I've found that mfp better suits my needs. I overeat and measuring my rice, pasta etc has paid dividends and taught me more about 'superfree' foods and their importance. I too look at old school photos and think I looked fine yet I spend all that time thinking I was fat when I wasn't....it turned out to be a self fulfilling prophecy! We're similar in many ways including weight, height etc....Good luck on your journey!

I really think tracking your calories is going to help you. Yep me too.....I can go ages without doing it then something pushes me over the edge and then I just go bonkers and can eat what would take any normal person 5 days to eat....I can inhale it in an evening!

When I make things I just dish up one portion and then freeze the others in single portions which means I have something quick and easy after work :)

Not last Saturday but the one before I had nearly 6,000 so I just got straight back to normal the next day and at weigh in I stayed the same. No point beating yourself up you'll just sabotage even more, we are actually allowed to be kind to ourselves.....

I love diet coke, but it was the dentist telling me that she could see the enamel on my teeth being weakened from drinking too much that made me cut down drastically!
