It still is! I'm sitting here at work laughing my *kitten* off. all of this.

Yessir! But now the question is whether or not I can afford to renew my sub. I wish they would make it free already. :grumble: Maybe I just get overwhelmed with the idea of a Druid. It's easier for me to wrap my head around ONE thing, haha. (I do love that my one WoW comment spawned all of this.)
-
I would never. :flowerforyou: Maybe if I re-up my WoW subscription I'll try a Druid, just for you.
-
 Not a big Druid fan. Warlocks are pretty cool though, I suppose. The crazy probably doesn't show until you piss us off.
-
That is epic. I also love the fact that your husband was willing to wake up from a dead sleep to do that for you, haha. Also this. I <3 Rogues.

"The next Big Bang cast member" I mean that in the most awesome way :flowerforyou:

Perfect. I love when I reach the climax of something immediately! Get your minds out of the gutter.

It really is. I never played a lot of GTA but after playing GTA 5, I'm thinking I've been missing out. I'll post some of my rage moments on my feed next time, so you can see them.

QFT, minus the "Wait, what?". :smokin: Oh and he needs to like video games. I want him to get as pissed off as I do when someone ganks me in WoW, when I ride my horse off a mountain in Skyrim, or when the cops finally catch me in GTA.

LOVE this thread. Here's mine- I'm still a work in progress.

For just over three years I worked at an Online High School doing a variety of things (enrollment, 504 Coordinator, Student Advisor etc). Just over a year ago I transferred to that school's Software and Curriculum provider, and I am now the Account Representative for the school I previously worked for. I conduct system…

You're too kind. :flowerforyou:

As far as I know the only detrimental effect (as others have mentioned) is that you won't be utilizing your potential to gain muscle. At your age, you'd be better off working to gain muscle mass now, and cutting BF% down later. You'll look better in the long run that way. But as long as you cut in a healthy way and don't…

FTFY. :flowerforyou:

Tagging. Everyone should read this.

Reference my post, or TeaBea's post. To put it in perspective: I am a 22 year old female, 5'5", weigh ~122 pounds and I eat 1,500 calories a day (which is still on the low end- I will be upping to 1,600 calories soon). You are twice my age, twice my weight, and much taller than me- you should be eating a LOT more than I…

I just plugged in your numbers to this calculator (below) and if you were to eat at an (aggressive) 20% deficit from your TDEE [Total Daily Energy Expenditure], assuming you exercise 1-3 hours a week, you should be eating 2,530 cals/day to lose weight. According to that calculator you are currently eating below your BMR,…

I don't call them "cheat days" but I tend to go over on calories on Friday/Saturday each week. I call that Life. I'm young and social, and enjoy going out on the weekends. That's my lifestyle, and I have to make it work. If I tried to tell myself "no" to those days, I would end up resenting the process of getting fit. Work…

I've been doing this since January, and sometimes I still have "grumpy" days. I think that's just my brain going "Are we done yet? Can we go back to eating ice cream all day and playing video games?" :P I find that if I do have a grumpy day, a light workout helps. Or even having a favorite treat of mine (as long as it's…

I think (I could be wrong) that if you squat *kitten* to grass while keeping proper form (knees not going past your toes) that you work your booty more than you would if you stayed parallel.

I think, honestly, most people who post the pictures/gifs/etc do it in jest. I would assume those people simply believe that everyone on this site can infer that eating complete and utter junk as their only food source isn't healthy. I haven't seen anything as of yet regarding the "take a vitamin" bit, but obviously that's…
-
I still don't recall seeing any posts telling people that they should eat mostly junk, or telling people that they eat mostly junk. The posts I've seen are all about moderation, saying things like "I don't deprive myself of things that I like if it fits into my day". But, I digress. Clearly we have experienced different…

Yes, I was being serious. I didn't mean to imply that those posts have NEVER happened- just that I haven't seen any. I can't imagine there are too many people who coach others to pay a bunch of attention to macros, but to disregard caloric intake.
-
If I find that having the dumbbell on the side of my stabilizing leg gets too easy, I may switch it to the other hand for an extra challenge. I'll also be mindful of my form, thank you- I don't want to aggravate my existing back issues. Regarding your third paragraph... I thought you said you were on maternity leave at…

No, the whole point of MFP is so people can track their caloric intake as well as their macro-nutrient intake if they so desire. The forums are not the main function or purpose of this site.
-
I've just never seen someone provide the advice of "eat what you want as long as it fits your macros" without mentioning/explaining the IIFYM philosophy and reminding them to stay under/at their calorie goal. However, I have seen several posts where people give the advice to "just eat clean" without adding "but make sure…

I wanted to reply again to address the bolded part above. Those certainly aren't the only options. I am the same age as you (22) and I've yet to finish my degree- I am paying my own way through school, and do not plan to take out loans until I go to a University (I'm taking my general credits at a community college). Yet…

I haven't read the whole thread, and I'm not a parent. But here's my two cents. My parents did not start a college savings account for me. What that means for me, is that at 22 years old, I only have about 20 credits under my belt towards my degree. I have to pay my own way through school, with no help from anyone. I've…

You didn't use the term, I'll give you that. The bolded part above is clearly referring to IIFYM, though. *shrug*
