It was my attempt at humor. Granted, I know I'm not stand-up comedian material, but taking a jab at my intelligence because you didn't understand my joke? You must be fun at parties.

1) It seems like you do not have a basic understanding of how one gains muscle mass. It is not from lifting weights alone. 2) Ditto what Sara said- Freaks? Wut? Body-shaming is not okay, even when you're referring to people who are extremely built.

1) While I will admit to having a neck, there is no beard on said neck. 2) Since you are not OP I don't see why you care who posts what. 3) *A* weight? I plan on lifting several in about 45 minutes. Doyouevenliftbro? ETA: Nope I did not know this was your thread. I thought it was Broderick50's.

Shower beer FTW.

It is. :flowerforyou:

lolwut? What is the point of "substituting" different types of proteins and carbs if you don't have any dietary restrictions or aversions to animal products? Also, from your blog: "The secret to success is no cheating for the first few days. It will become easier over time and when results become visible. Finish the job…

I know what you mean, OP. I was with my ex-husband from the age of 18-22 and when we split in February it was really hard to get back into the swing of things, since I'd never been a single adult. My suggestion is to focus on yourself more than anything- don't rely on other people, especially people from the internet, to…

Wow, that's phenomenal progress!

You look great. I like stories like yours & Chelle's because you Eat All The Things and STILL look amazing. :flowerforyou:

You are a lucky man!

I don't have any yet, but I do plan on getting some soon. :flowerforyou: :blushing: Thank you!

I've only been lifting a few months, mine are as follows. But honestly, everyone is different when it comes to lifting. My lower body is way stronger than my upper. Squats: 100lbs Deadlifts: 130lbs Barbell Rows: 60lbs Bench Press: 50lbs OHP: 25lbs (I hate this one... so hard to progress)

  Ok, here's what I got. It's nothing compared to some of the supah lovely ladies here, but I want to help get this thread back on track.
-
Anyways. You ladies all look awesome! I can't wait to get to a point with my progress where I will have some photos to post in here.

I think they have like a thousand calories so you better water fast all day long just to be safe. Maybe throw in some raspberry ketones to keep the hunger at bay. If you DO eat, just avoid carbs at ALL COSTS. They will make you obese. You're welcome.

Wow, great work!

   You look fantastic, Chelle!

I don't think relationships "ruin" diets (hate that word) but they can be harder to maintain once you're with someone you are comfortable with. I'm struggling with this a bit now- I was single for a while and got to an all-time low weight, but since I've started casually seeing someone my habits are slipping. I have to…

That's true. I hope that changes soon. I think we're slowly moving in the right direction. And it goes both ways, honestly. Neither gender should try to achieve a certain look just to please someone else, IMO.

 I'm confused why so many women are concerned about what MEN want in a body shape/size/etc. Get to a point where you are confident, and the right guy will think you're perfect as you are. Jeezus.

I prefer my men out of uniform.

+1 for the carbs comment! And this is true re: macros don't matter for "Weight" loss, but macros are important for overall body composition (read: not losing lean body mass). If you're interested in tracking Macros in a specific manner, OP, start now instead of later. I wish I'd started lifting and tracking more…

Awesome, thank you. I'll check that video out on my lunch later. :)

Thanks, doll! I will check this out too. ETA: I'm glad you edited. I was disappointed that you didn't give me an innuendo!
-
Thank you for the detailed reply! I will definitely check this link out. I do have a lifting partner, so this technique could be a great fit. What a neat site. I'll definitely check this out! :flowerforyou: I think the main problem is my hips, yeah. My calves/hamstrings are typically pretty loose. How would I know if my…

Try this :) http://iifym.com/iifym-calculator/ ETA: I gave you that link instead of posting my information because everyone is different when it comes to Macro breakdowns.

I like 2 & 3. I think #2 brings out your eyes more. What website did you use for this? Or did you just doctor the photos up yourself?
