I was wondering about this just the other day. Great information, thank you!

   Congratulations!

^ This, holy moly.

If you eat under sometimes, that's not that bad. By "sometimes" I mean every once in a great while. The number that MFP gives you is what you should strive to hit every single day. If you workout, aim to eat at least 50% of those calories back, too. Under-eating consistently will end up stalling your progress in the long…

1) No one "needs" to eat clean. That is a preference. 2) Cardio is great for overall fitness, yes. But you do not "need" it 3x a week. 3) You also do not "need" resistance training, and if OP wants to do it, they do not need to do cardio for a month first. I do agree with your "weight loss is not magic", though. OP- You…

In my mind's eye, I am still at my heaviest weight. Even though I've dropped inches, pant sizes and pounds like crazy, my brain hasn't caught up yet. My friends keep calling me "slim", and I'm always confused. I argue back with "No, I'm average!" when in reality I'm on the low-end of the BMI scale for my height. My self…

inorite. I think they need to go on a juice cleanse. Because science- or something.

Also, this. ^ It's been said time and time again that if you want unconditional support and hand-holding, seek out like minded individuals, send them a FR and post everything on your wall. Public forums are not the place to expect rainbows and sunshine 100% of the time. But, I digress. IN to see how this turns out.

Oh, I'm not disputing that it could've been bullying. I just have never been able to actually see the evidence. *Shrug* Hopefully you don't let a random person on the internet effect you too much. :flowerforyou:
-
Examples, please? I've yet to see someone post a real example of someone being truly mean - most of the time, it's just a difference of opinion that gets people riled up.
-
This is incredibly vague. What are they shaming you into?
-
You're such a bully! We're all here for the same reason!!

I think you should do the "Healthy Lifestyle Change" diet. Find healthy foods that you like, meet your calorie goal, and move your body more. I promise that a lifestyle change approach > diets.
-
^ This. Most people only start getting nit-picky about their Macros when they are focused on body composition.
-
9, you have a lovely complexion! :)

It's me all dolled up at work one day. I just think I look nice. :)

^ This. I tried this Arctic Zone and I really didn't like it. As others have said, it's icy and bland. If I'm going to eat "diet" ice cream it'll be Skinny Cow- I actually truly love the taste of their stuff.

Weight loss isn't linear. There were times where I wouldn't lose, or even "gain" weight for a few weeks, and then randomly I'd drop 3-4 pounds. It doesn't sound like you're doing anything "wrong" (though I'm not sure if 1,200 is the right number for you, depending on height). Keep doing what you're doing, try to add in…

First things first, you should check with your doctor about this to see if this is a normal side effect, and how long it'll last. Eating below your BMR is never good, but I believe you may have a little wiggle room since as you said you're obese. Even then though, you shouldn't continue this (unintentional) very low…

It's likely water weight. Have you had a lot of sodium? More carbs than normal? New workout? All of those things can lead to water retention. Weigh yourself again in another week, and try to do it after a rest day (so that you can avoid some water retention in your muscles from your workout). I bet when you weigh again,…

It's really easy to become complacent once you start having some success- I'm the same way. I've lost weight in the past, only to gain it back after I reached my goal. I'm at that tipping point right now, where I'm basically at goal weight, and I'm losing motivation. I know I'm supposed to be in a Cut still and I know I…

YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO! YOU'RE NOT MY REAL DAD! Feel better!

Wearing makeup and being a badass. You go, Darla. At the risk of sounding incredibly juvenile, you started it. :smokin: I also don't recall anyone calling you a skank.

I was actually typing up a list, and then realized no one owes you "three good reasons" for doing anything in their personal life. Are you serious right now? :grumble: It's also funny to me that you think people are "fake" based on wearing make-up. Being fake isn't skin deep. It's odd to me, too, that you are so…

You said everything I wanted to say to this Mutant, so uh, I'll just leave this here. :flowerforyou:

When it comes to discussing nutrition/fitness/etc on a website, you have to rely on unverifiable information. You have to take what the OP says as truth, otherwise there'd be no point in discussing anything on sites like this. You see the cup half empty, a lot of us see it half full. There's no reason *not* to believe what…

I live vicariously through Jonnythan's diary during the week. Don't try and take that away from me, you nay-sayers. :grumble:
