You'll look and more importantly, FEEL better no matter if it's water weight ( bloat ) or fat. Good luck to you!!

Thank you! Today ended up being a slow day at home, so I completed more free style weight training. Am hoping for a walk after baking some pies, so that should balance it all out :)

I think that's just another excuse. Just focus on your moves, block all others out.

I'm open mainly because I know nothing can be kept secret on the internet. You might as well leave breadcrumbs everywhere you walk before trying to be incognito online.

5'5" here. Starting weight : 165 Current Weight : 140 Ultimate Goal : 125 I remember being 125 when I was fifteen at this height and still having quite a bit of fat around my thighs and belly. I was afraid of weight training for the most part, besides the lunges, squats and abductions. I think I want to be 125 so I have a…

You don't need it, go to sleep thirty minutes earlier. I wish I could!

I can only lift maybe 15-20 lbs for that many reps.. so shouldn't it be considered heavy? I live in a town with no gym ://

all this lift heavy stuff is making me dizzy... Can you lift heavy if all you use are handweights? what is heavy...?

Gander, Newfoundland, Canada.. what a dreary day here too :(

With my first it took me a little over 4 months to lose the twenty pounds I gained. After birth, I lost 8 pounds and stayed that way for well over a month before I was able to start any exercise or eating better. My second, I lost the weight I gained within days of his birth. My nurse said to me never stress about it. " It…

I had difficulty doing them, no pain, just very unbalanced so I worried over injury.. I did beginner version for four full days, went half advanced half beginner the next four and my last two days was finally able to go the workout jumping. You have to work yourself up or you WILL hurt yourself. Good luck!

Quite a difference!

With my hips I could be a skeleton and only fit into a size 6. No joking.. It's all about the body type you are have!

To Jennisin1 -Sounds just like me.. I only just lost the baby weight from my daughter ( born in January , 2012) when finding out I was pregnant again in April.. I was super strict with myself with #2! hah

Alright! I stayed 165.0 for quite some time after leaving the hospital, mainly due to all the Christmas chocolates laying around the house and increase fluid for breastfeeding. So I think I'll stick with the afterbirth weight :) Thanks everyone!

Thanks ladies! I'm still unsure what to do. My boyfriend said I should go by what I weighed after the birth, but also said anything he would suggest he'd get yelled at anyway. I'm not even sure if it's harder to lose 8lbs of baby, afterbirth and what not than fat. But then again, I had small babies and VERY quick…

Most things are processed.. so I don't really give a hoot or I'd probably starve. I only ever buy frozen meals like Lean Cuisine when they're on sale ( half off or they can choke on em! ) and use them when I literally only have minutes to prepare, eat and clean up. Just the same, two apples will satisfy me for longer. I…

always up for new friends. especially if they can give me meal ideas hah

I don't count cleaning as exercise, nor carrying a child. It's daily activity that I was doing when I was super fat too. LOL
-
I can relate, but you can't have it all and not work hard for it.

I got pregnant four months after my first baby. I lost the weight I gained during the pregnancy by then, but still had 20 lbs extra. My second pregnancy I gained 8 lbs. Three of those in the first six months only. I biked a lot and have an active job. There's nothing wrong with losing weight while pregnant! Just be upfront…

A tip I would suggest is no deprivation. Eat when you're hungry ( not bored ) and eat sensible amounts of whatever you want. Don't give yourself a calorie limit that is the same every day. Some days I'm much more hungry and eat 300-600 calories more. Mix it up, and listen deeply, your body knows what it needs.

Oh dear.. I could write here for hours, but I just wish I could give you a boost, so just keep your head up high. It gets better ( I was once 230, at age 14 )

I really really really want to fit into my "vintage 2006 " jeans. I'm afraid my hips are much too big after childbirth though. Gotta try for it anyway :)
-
I agree with above poster. Water weight takes the first hit, especially if you're watching your sodium intake :)

Sweet child.. I recently decided to double my weigh loss goal.. from 20 to 40 lbs.. You better be proud of yourself!!
