Net (Netto) calories are the calories you eat MINUS the cals you burn. It's theamount of cals you "actually consumed" (the rest is worked off). You should aim to have at least 1200 net cals.

Maybe you take small sips and swallow water in that process? That's the only thing I can think of right now, sorry.
