Hi Sallyann, Welcome to MFP. I've also got a goal to complete the Men's Fitness Challenge (open to women too) in October so I'm also looking for buddies. I'm doing the 5:2 so if anyone is fasting or similar then please feel free to add me :D

Hi Lilly, I started the 5:2 on 6th Jan and I am loving it. It's a steady loss (not what I'm used to when it comes to dieting - but then this isn't a diet, it's a way of life) and I'm happy with that. I'd love some new 5:2/IF friends so please feel free to add me for the journey :flowerforyou:

Hi, same time zone here (Nottingham). Feel free to add me - always looking for new accountability buddies to keep me on track (and visa versa) 2014 is going to be a good year!!

Hi Emma, I have started the 5:2 and my first fast is today! It's going well so far. I've had a banana, a satsuma and am planning to have soup tonight with 5 water crackers. Would definitely love more 5:2 friends to keep me motivated and I'm more than happy to do the same for you. Also, I'm half way through the Kate…

Hi Usual, This is my second time so I know where you are coming from. I've been getting a little chunky over the past 6 months and never really realised until I was half way through my second box of Jaffa Cakes!!! Getting myself back on track now with the help of the GL (not GI) diet and a little bit of fasting in between…

I also need some positive MFP buddies so please feel free to add me. :flowerforyou: What are your goals and are you on a particular diet or are you just trying to eat healthier? Hi Bean, You are more than welcome to add me. I'd be happy to keep you accountable - I need some friends to boost me too. I am currently at 171 but want to get down to 140 ish. I started at 176 and managed to get down to 163 but for the past 6 months I seem to have slipped back into old bad food habits. I'm now back on…

Zumba can be high or low impact - it depends on how much you want to bounce around the floor. :-) I go for high impact every time, I come out sweating and with a smile on my face.

That is really useful. I am going to get myself one too. Thank you very much for posting this :flowerforyou:

You might need orthotics. Have you had anyone look at the way you run (your gait). I went to a running shop and they did an analysis on the way I ran and gave me trainers accordingly (I overpronate). Hope that helps. Don't give up, it will all come good :-)

Brilliant! Thank you Hmmmm can you have a 'non scale victory', and, if so, how does that work?
-
That sounds nice. I like mine on toasted crumpets with butter - yum!

That's really useful advice re: the arm band. Thank you. I have small (ish) arms so I'm hoping that I won't have any problems with the fit. :-)

I am spoilt for choice!!! Thank you all very much :-)

I might have to invest in some pepper spray then, and a mini baseball bat. LOL Very sensible advice - I shall make sure I turn my volume down too.

The Yurbuds look great........ they all look great. It's so much better to buy something when it's been tried and tested by other people.…

Hi there, I am with you all the way! I have had no success doing it the wrong way so now I'm doing it the healthy way and am starting to enjoy it. I sometimes go over my goal weight and sometimes I'm a little under (have a look at my diary). I'm just getting used to my calorie markers but I'm getting there. Please feel…
