According to Mayo Clinic and WebMD, caffeine doesn't dehydrate nearly as much as people believe, with WebMD even saying it doesn't cause it at all. I'd count it personally. Urine color really tells you how hydrated you are.

Very true. I worked at the front end of a grocery store in VT for a number of years. Without fail and the start of every month, what you described happened most of the time. And the kicker, probably about 75% of the time, if the family went over on their food stamps, the FIRST thing to put back was the fresh chicken, beef,…

I'm generally concerned with sodium intake at Dr's advice. I 'm supposed to average 1,500mg a day, but many times is around 2,500. It's not easy by any means.
-
I can't wait for the day I start paying for that.
-
Typically once every 3-4 weeks, but for the past few weeks it has been every week. Never more than once a week.

I know the feeling. Two cakes were brought into work yesterday to celebrate a birthday and a citizenship. They were plated with fruit around the border. I skipped the cake and probably saved 500+ calories. It's hard, but people shouldn't compel you.

It's a bad idea for govt to get involved because they think they know how to keep you healthy. Besides, if people want 16+ ounces, they will buy two smaller ones. What's to stop them from banning anything they want based on nutritional value they deem too unhealthy. No thanks. It's not the city's responsibility.

Ive got this one http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11537017 Absolutely love it.

Yeah, Blizzards can be notorious due to the add in cookies/candy. They're so good though...

I buy when I need them, but some things I only buy at thrift stores. Since I'm far from where I want to be, I can't imagine myself spending so much money on temporary clothing. I'll save that when I'm down to where I want to be.

'92 Ford Escort. Got it in '97. Can't say I really have a dream car. I'm happy with whatever gets me to point A and B. Probably a Ford though. It's all I've ever had and those cards have been fantastic for me.

I really call it whatever it is, specifically. But if I'm referring to it in general, soda. Grew up in NJ and VT.

90's for sure. Especially alt. rock and grunge :) 80's a close second.
-
Probably not. As long as my urine is pale yellow/clearish, I consider myself pretty well hydrated.

Unless you suffer from elevated or high blood pressure, 1,500 for sodium is rather low. 2,000 - 2,500 is probably fine. Of course I'm no doctor either. You may want to consult.

Yankees fan here!

Like everyone said, stick with the 2lbs a week. Perfect rate.

Newsboys were decent enough until John James left the band. I haven't liked anything they put out after Take Me To Your Leader.

I apologize, I believe it's a 2 oz. serving, but even still, it's a huge difference. They make some other low sodium varieties. Not nearly as low, but typically around 40-50% less than the normal. Here's the nutritional pamphlet. http://www.boarshead.com/pdf/NutritionBook.pdf

Boar's Head makes a no salt added turkey. I think it's around 50mg of sodium per 3 oz.

Losing 3-5 pounds would be nice, but considering I'm going to Myrtle Beach for 10 days, I'll settle for not gaining anything. Realistically, even if I do gain some, it won't be a lot.

Usually just plain water I log. I don't count coffee, tea, diet soda or anything like that even though they are primarily water.
-
I still like DCT. I just converted my VHS copy of Rap, Rock and Soul to DVD. Holy cow are they young in that. It's a bit cheeseball, but still awesome.

I do like Zao, Living Sacrifice, Becoming the Archetype as well as some of the classic heavy metal like Stryper, Bloodgood, Guardian and older Tourniquet. There's some good metal out there.
