Well said. If you are going to subject yourself to salads and tasteless foods you will not stick to your plans/goals. I eat what I normally would.... PORTION is key!

I run on the Elliptical 5-8 miles 6 days a week. I want to do 7 days a week, but right now I need at least one rest day.

A number of years ago I was in a car wreck and hit my right knee on the dashboard. About 3 months ago I hurt the same knee while running. Ice skates are for the ice.... They will def kick you out of the gym. Just imagine how hard it would be to run/walk in those things. Wear tennis shoes!

I go to the gym for free too! Only the people in our off Post Military Community have access to it though. It is not a big fancy gym, but it is new, and really nice.
