My story is the same and I have found relief with fish oil. My naturopath said that duiring my period I could take more than I do on a daily basis. Typically I take 2400 IUs/day and during my period I will ramp it up to 4800IU. It is working like a charm.

My baby is 16 months old and it took me closer to a year to lose 50 lbs. My focus was sporadic though. I do believe that tools like my fitness pal to be important in my success as well as excercising daily. MFP does a good job of telling you what calories you should eat at the various weight levels. You can do it!
