Welcome!!! First off, I am praying for you. Second off, this is a good group for you to be in! And getting healthier can only improve your life.....Stick with it. Log everything you eat. I have noticed when I don't log my food I gain weight. It is a total life style change but so worth it. :)

I, too, am a cancer survivor. I started my weight loss journey on January 12, 2012. Weighing in at a whopping 321 lbs I cried. But, I have lost 52 lbs so far and I am on a mission to get down to 180 lbs!!! I will get there, it just takes time. Stay focused and stay on track and use MFP cause it really helps!!!! Good luck…

I am just going to be happy and cry tears of joy. I am not doing this for any other reason than to be healthy and to finally look good in clothes. It will be nice not to have people staring at me cause I am so fat. I look forward to just looking in the mirror and thinking "Damn I look hot!!!!" :) :) :)

I don't track my sugar either. All I have worried about so far is what my calorie intake is and making sure that I am under that by a couple hundred calories every day. Wow!!!! 100 lbs!!!! That is freakin awesome!!!! That is my initial goal. I have lost 40.6 lbs in 10 weeks! I started out at 231 lbs and I am down to 280.4 lbs!!! I am working hard at this but reading stories like this really helps! So very proud of you! :flowerforyou:
