  • I'm going to give this a shot! It would be great if the weather would stay nice because I do so much better at going on walks and running when its nice out! This week I've all ready put in 11 miles in two days because the weather has been so AMAZING!

  • I'm 5'9.5! AND I totally get the "I can't believe you weigh that much! You don't look it" At my lowest ever I was 126lbs in high school during cross country, dance and basketball. I was TOO skinny. I looked basically like bones! I like myself the most at 135-145. My heaviest was 186 and currently I am sitting at 165.6…
  • My guess is water weight as well...Sometimes I weigh myself before a workout and than again afterwards and I have lost up to 2lbs just during a workout because of sweating. It's kind of amazing how it all works. I'm hoping you don't gain the weight back! I've got my fingers crossed for you!
  • I'm right there with you! Taking it one day at a time! Slowly but surely I am seeing progress! I'm much better off than I was 2 months ago and I want to keep that trend going! I'm not looking back either, instead I'm looking forward and getting excited to see what changes I'll have another month from now!

  • I understand exactly how you feel! It was the same way for us! I feel like I had a better sex drive when I was pregnant than I do now. I'm just really tired of not wanting to have sex. It's gotten old! I feel menopasual and I'm only 26! But I'm not ready to have another kid yet either. I'm just about to finish school, I…
  • I have Mirena, have had it for nearly 5 years. I am planning to have it out in november when it's due out. Before that I had tri sprintec and got PG on it. I never would have switched off Ortho tricylen LO but i couldnt afford it anymore. Thinking of getting the Mirena out and trying Ortho tricylen again. I think the…
  • I've had my Mirena since November 2008. It's due to come out this November. When I got pregnant with my son I was 135. When I had him I was 190 and before I let the hospital I dropped 30lbs. I gained a ton of water weight and he was 9lbs 4oz as well. At my 6 week appointment I was back in my pre-pregnancy jeans and feeling…
  • I haven't done a challenge on here before, so please add me! I'd like to give it a shot
  • I use a HRM and I never eat all of them back. Usually I end up typically consuming about 1600 calories a day. If I'm hungry I'll eat more, if not I don't worry about it too much. Sometimes I'll drink a glass of milk or something to help jump up my calories too. Or I'll have a piece of toast with PB and Nutella as a snack.…
  • little by little does the trick ;-)
  • I read something that said it takes us 4 weeks to notice a difference, those closest to us take 8 weeks and everyone else 12 weeks! Don't quit because the long and short of it is that it may take a while for others to notice, I have been at it a short 5 weeks and finally just noticed a difference in myself. So there hasn't…
  • I gave up a tv show to work out. I like to run outside on nice days or do a workout video in the house. I started out with a short one to get me going. 30 Day Shred is around a 20 minute work out. I guess my advice is start out small and make it a priority to do something. You don't have to work out every day but doing…
  • Don't let someone else bring you down! When you are healthy and fit they will be wishing they had been there working with you instead of watching you work! Keep going and keep your head up! You are doing great!
  • I have been logging it as circuit training. Today I got a HRM and it was pretty close to what I was logging as circuit training. I actually worked harder than normal to see how many calories I could burn ;-) And I was pleased with the results.
  • I don't think people should judge someones spouse based off of two sentences. It's not supportive to tell someone to get a divorce to the person they vowed to spend the rest of their life with! ANyway, personally I would love to not have to work out in my living room! When I jump all around sometimes I shake stuff right…
  • Don't take this wrong way but as a whole we all want instant results and the thing is you might not see a difference in 5 days or 10 days or even 15 days. You have to keep going and stay consistent because it takes time for results to show. You have to work hard for it and you can't quit. Also starving yourself isn't going…
  • I love 30DS! I did level one for 8 days, than moved on to level 2, thought I was going to die and tonight I did level 3. I jump all around with my working out, so I don't do it every day. I do running a lot as well but on days where I just dont want to get out and run I do 30DS and here lately I've been doing two work outs…
  • I weigh in every 2 weeks and do my inches. Than I put the whole picture together and look at the entire month and judge my progress. This month I lost 9.2lbs and 16 inches. Now I'm on to see what I can accomplish in the next two weeks, log it, than focus on the next two weeks and before long I'll be at 60 days and I'll be…
  • I can't wait for my pants to feel loose! What a nice feeling that must be!! Great job! Keep it up so that at some point they just fall off ya ;-)
  • I find callenging myself motivates me. Right now I'm working on burning 3500 calories in one week. I also challenge myself to stay off the scale. Currently I only weigh in every two weeks. So It's always a challenge to see what difference I can make to my body in two weeks. I also do my inches because if the scale doesn't…
  • Right now I weigh in every 2 weeks and do my inches. It is hard to stay off the scale but I have found that the numbers on the scale tend to depress me rather than motivate me. I have more success if I stay off it. Plus the last time I weighed in I had a 6lbs weight loss and it was awesome to see that number shining up at…
  • I'm 20 days Pepsi Free! I quit cold turkey and it's not the first time i have quit. I've tried off and on a few times in the last year to quit but the time I was really successful was when I was pregnant with my son and I went two years without drinking it. Anyway, I was drinking way too much and I am not going to work my…
  • PIZZA!! Yesterday a coworker brought us pizza hut buffet food to go! She made me a huge salad with cottage cheeze, pasta alfredo, salad, cheese, ect...and than piled in 6 slices of pizza, a cheese stick and a cinnamon stick! I ate it for lunch and supper and went over my calories by 800 even with working out. I felt…
