I think Karen (Skinny) wrote a well-considered answer and I agree, You're not being selfish, you're just seeing that the time has come to tell him you've reached YOUR breaking point. But the news must be given him in such a manner so it…

  • AFM – since I posted 3/12 I haven’t been to the pool. I got up at 10 but still so stiff with swollen joints. This comes from bending all evening to help step-mom. Nurses require bed stay low to avoid falls and lawsuits, I am just a smidge too tall for this constant bending. It’s every few minutes – a sip of water, a brush…

  • @LaurieK and @Skinniejeans - Karen - its very interesting to note what you're both saying tonight. From my vantage point, you're both vigorous, athletic people, both in the same profession which forces you into long hours of sedentary work with only small bursts of energy, all the while enduring huge amounts of stress on…
  • @Tanya -when I saw the new Apple watch the first thought across my mind was whether that strap was sturdy enough! Gosh how frustrating for you - the old wristwatch strap method seems much more sensible but would snag on clothes more, wouldn't it? • @SKinny - what would be your ideal class? @KMHtime - welcome! Yes, it IS hard to get the eating habits under control. Had to walk fast past it! @LivesToTravel - gosh…
  • @Skinny - that's one heck of a poem! It wouldn't sit so well with the Buddha but it took him a looong time to reach his comfort spot!
  • @WalkingQueen - Holly {{{{HUGS}}}}} how dastardly employers can be! Hope you and your co-workers have a good cry together tonight and get it out of your systems and you find a hidden blessing somewhere in all of this! Throw your efforts twice as hard into your schoolwork, and polish that resume in between times. Give…
  • Oh gosh, I am hung up on Holly's (@MNWalkingQueens) post. Just so worried about her losing her job. • I am behind in reading every ones post! Forgive me! @CBlue – Lori – I can relate – you have done so much work on yourself, come so far, been such a disciplinarian, it is extraodinary, so much dead weight tossed away. Please don’t look at your husband as “dead weight” as well to toss away, Although I have not walked in your…
