Definite inspiration for the PCOSers! and I too love the polka dots!

It sounds like you're anxious and putting way too much pressure on yourself about eating your remain calories. I mean how many hours do you have left in the day? You don't have to immediately eat all the calories your burn and not necessarily all of them depending on what weight loss methodology you subscribe to...

There are PCOS boards here- look under Groups at the top of your screen. Some people eat their calories some don't depending on your metabolism which for PCOS is a lil skewed, and in the general boards you will end up getting advice from people who don't really understand the variances of diet, medication, exercise, etc…

IF you don't think this person would be good company on the trip I wouldn't go. Does she want to go sight seeing or go drinking in clubbing? Make sure you are on the same page about the activities but I really wouldn't go on a trip with an associate as you describe.

I second never stray to an extent. Organics meant a lot more before the USDA stepped in. Most giant box store grocers are able to dodge or simply pay the fines of contaminated "organics". Before the USDA took over there was Oregon Tilth and CAI which were smaller orgs that were serious about organics. Also, manure has…

Were you doing more fortified food before going Gluten-free? This cold season has been rough. I have been sick twice , once with the flu, healthy for a week, then a cold. It may just be a rough season. I never get sick so I am thinking this is more just coincidence if anything.

Awesome!

I don't want to flame either but this is not the actual journal article, and the study was with 50 people. What was the sampling methodology to find these 50 people and are they even representative of the general population. As other posters noted obesity can strike individuals at different life stages. Where these people…

So why is pasta better than rice on this poster and white rice will make you feel more full? Am I misreading this?

Oh wait misread that you knew she was vegetarian. I don't think her response was rude, you could have just replied Didn't know they may have other things at that place that are good.

Testing for issues of wheat and gluten can be expensive. I have severe food allergies to sunflower oil (I have an epipen) and yeast and a other things, but I have never been tested for gluten or wheat. The best way my doctor told me to figure out what was causing my reactions was an elimination diet i.e. just avoid certain…

Bob's Redmill (find at WF or other natural grocers) has awesome cornbread and other mixes available. It really isn't that hard of a thing to find at natural grocers so I think once you look you will be pleasantly surprised.

Ditto, you may have to get a spot closer to the instructor to avoid the social circles. However, on days your really tired you can still move around and zone off, so it is really flexible in intensity. You get what you put into it. Plus, I had knee troubles. I would suggest getting some water shoes to get the best out of…

Pretend that your chest strap is your way of learning of how women feel putting a bra on everyday:laugh: Is it really that difficult to work with a chest strap. I'm not sure why people want to avoid it aside from them costing a bit more.

I did five lbs. when I was doing it.

I have joints that crack and pop. You just have to see for yourself. If high impact moves kill you, I would suggest you either go for a longer workout and just do strength training at your own pace. I have attempted twice and both times my knees hated me, which is not functional as I a pedestrian in Chicago. I think some…

Tell him this!

Awesome! Slow and steady wins the race and now I will be more committed about eating breakfast as I am at a plateau as we speak!

From a married perspective- is your husband right? Why do you want to do the competition, if you have other reasons than present these to him a logical and calm fashion. If you still want to do it perhaps sit out this round and take him to a show first. He may have a completely different idea of what occurs at these shows…

Psyllium is just a form of fiber like metamucil, there are no stimulants of any sort involved. Barley grass is just a powdered green food drink similar to wheat grass. I wasn't expecting to hear negative feedback. I actually was just referring how people often mock "cleansing." I don't think you familiar with the products…

Well, I will stop whining about my two month plateau :embarassed: I am going to say this and others may freak out on me but I am doing a colon cleanse and focusing on water right now. I am taking psyllium husks 1 tbsp morning and night with crap load of water. I also am doing a barley grass drink to get some extra enzymes…

I have sticky yoga mat on a wood floor. I don't know if you are using a yoga mat or another type but yoga mats usually are slip resistant due to the nature of yoga.

For this, ibuprofen and therma care patches are awesome and functional when moving.

I have two issues so far. One is caused by the other. My legs are actively cramping up during the workout. The 1st workout I only burned 342 on my HRM. The second day I tried to avoid the tightness by low impacting the movements (specifically the butt kicks and jump rope) but my calorie burned dropped to 273. Does anyone…

I have 5 lb weights. I can't really do push ups so I try to make up for it. I couldn't finish circuit 3 strength training a few days ago, but today was was my 2nd day of level one and I made it through.

Hey guys- I hope you don't mind if I tag along. I am doing the 30 day shred a little differently. I just finished physical therapy for my left shoulder and knee. I did the 30 day shred 2 days ago and I am now just recovering in my arms. I am trying to do this workout at least 3 times a week (not everyday bc I don't want to…

People at work and people at my convenience shop started asking if I was pregnant. Unfortunately, all my weight hits my middle first then disperses to other area. It was embarrassing. However, I got over it and continued to gain and go off and on diets until this past September when no matter what I keep going.
