I thought that my lungs would explode when I first started. It burned so bad! didn't think it would ever get better. but four months in now I can run the 5k and I can carry a conversation while jogging, no laboured breathing. fight through it. job a bit , walk a bit and push yourself!

if I am away and not able to log I find it easy to stay under my 1200 by allowing a certain amount of calories per meal. I allow 250 for breakfast, 300 for lunch and save the rest for supper and a bowl of popcorn. if I stay within my set calorie allowances for breakfast and lunch, I am always ok for supper.

if you are looking for a creamy base to make dressings, try to purree low fat cottage cheese with an immersion blender. gives you a creamy base that you can season as you like. I love to do workouts off of youtube, you can do a different one every day and never get bored! I really like tiffany rothe and tae bo. the tae bo is cheesy but it burns a lot of cals in a relatively short time.

I agree! had my thyroid removed and on thyroid replacement and have a very difficult time losing weight. at 1200 cals a day and running 5-7km 3 days a week and doing other workouts as well, only lose maybe a pound a week if I'm lucky. MFP seems to think that I should be losing 2 lbs a week with my cals, no way!

5'8" 153 and a 32 " waist. very thick waisted even when I am stick thin!
