I started MFP on Jan. 29th and have lost 20 lbs. on a 1200 calorie diet......it has worked well for me.

Since starting MFP I tend to repeat the same meals quite often. Breakfast--3/4 c. Grape Nuts Flakes, 1/4 c. skim milk, 1 c. orange juice. Lunch--1 slice 100% whole wheat bread, with either 1 T. I use brown rice in place of pasta; this week I made meatballs & spaghetti sauce for my family and I ate mine on top of brown rice. (The family ate theirs with pasta).

I find it helpful to cook chicken and hamburger ahead of time and I keep a supply in the freezer. I chop up the chicken and bag it in 1 cup amounts, and I bag the hamburger in 1 lb. amounts. Then I can make chili and other recipes more quickly. Look on the internet for "Chicken Tortilla Soup" and "American Shepherd's Pie."…
