Zumba is like any other exercise, you gotta give it your all and watch your calories in vs out.. if you don't understand a move the instructor is doing, just keep…

All GREAT suggestions! Yes, I will start keeping a few crystal light packets in my purse and some cheese crackers or other. With the heat here, I will have to find something more durable to keep in the car, so I will keep my eyes open. But I think I will try a bit of all your suggestions! Thank you... and, for the record,…

hoping to also get some clues too.. sometimes, it is way easier to make bad choices on the road than to actually PLAN. I'd like to change that! I know WHAT not to eat, but how can we make this all easier?

I have a bunch of kids (5) so I am always looking for ways to serve healthy family meals. Just got this one last week. In a large frying pan with lid- Brown 1-2 pounds of ground meat (sausage, ground beef or even ground turkey) with 1-2 large onions. Drain. Put i back on stove. Spice it up - garlic, basil, salt, pepper. I…

whole wheat penne pasta with my fresh tomato topping (Feta cheese on the side, for those who like it) - cut up 6 tomatoes into chunks - cut up 1 sweet/yellow onion into smaller chunks - put onto baking sheet, mix - add in one small jar of capers - mix - sprinkle with salt - drizzle with olive oil - put into pre-heated over…

AHHHH, my mirror LIES to me! I gained 50 pounds and still TOLD MYSELF I looked ok. I can't trust my mirror! I'm also interested in a tool! - ok, so maybe it wasn't the mirror lying as much as I was lying to myself, but the point still stands. I'm not my best judge!

Same here! I was completely in denial. for me, it was 50 pounds in two years. I put the scale away and never went back.. then one day, I decided to get out the scale and was shocked! Feel free to add me if the stuff on my profile seems like a fit for you! I've got 25 more pounds to go!

I've been using MFP since February. I am 47/f, 5'4", currently around 148. My goal weight is 125. I'm not focusing on any specific diet, just watching calories and exercising as much as I can. I run, I lift weights (heavy), do Zumba and Yoga, so I try to mix it up and keep it fun. I SHOULD be eating more protein and less…

Since April only... I do Yoga 2 times a week and I honestly, HATE it .. but really appreciate the benefits so I do it! It especially helps keep down the soreness from lifting heavy weights! Feel free to add me.

it looks like so many of you are wrapping up Stage 1 while I am still in my doctor mandated 'no lifting' time out.. You have done a fabulous job and I'm super pumped to see you making so many great accomplishments. You ALL really inspire me to get back it as soon as i can and to hit it HARD.. Now, I know I am not supposed…
