Hello I am too late to join? I hiked last Friday, Saturday & Sunday 15km/day, for a total of 45 kms = 27 miles 169 yards-I think! That was an elevation of x3 x800metres = 1 mile 864yds - ? Maybe I should just post the kms and someone better than me convert? Jan

weight loss is 80% food intake and only 20 % exercise - I know I am eating too much and funnily enough I am not losing weight -you have eat less calories. Jan

Absolutely! It "talks" to MFP so adjusts your allowed calorie intake the more you move - you do not have to manually enter exercise. Motivation +++ when you compare your steps with others.... a year ago I never thought I would be able to walk over 35000 steps and over 300 floors in a day - but I did a couple of days ago!…

What a lovely husband you have. On the TV this morning a dietition said that weight loss is only 20% exercise and 80% diet so despite your physical limitations at the moment, MFP can support you 80% towards your goal! I try to stop before 2100 hrs - I often do not go to bed until 2330hrs Other wise 0900-1000 when I work night duty!

234 days - I had lost 49 lbs but regained 8 lbs in the last 5 weeks when I was on holiday and not logging food eaten- it is so easy for me to over eat carbs - atleast I have not gone back to chocolate! So 41 lbs at the moment. I have lost my momentum ....but.... Today is a new start!

I am away at the moment only really old scales available and I have been really bad - definately up ? 70.5kg - 155.5 lbs- food really good here in the Hinterland of the Sunshine Coast of Queensland Australia!!! Having a fantastic holiday though! WIll but good again mid next week.....
