Stairs are a great workout. Mix it up.. One at a time/4 at a time/2 at a time. When unloading ur groceries take it one item at a time... The neighbours will think you are nuts... :)

Artfully done tatoos and sleeves are nice but... it is just window dressing. The ink isnt the draw - it is the mystery behind it - I want to hear the story. Piercings are ok too but stretched earlobes. That is just plain nasty!!!

i was at about 70 i think. I just had to restart though as I was wilderness camping for the weekend and had no cell coverage.

Don't be afraid to ask folks in they gym for a bit of help. That trainer that you talked to should be ashamed of herself - i agree with the one comment that they may be working in fear of a liability lawsuit if you hurt yourself. You can do this!!!

If you are at the gym to 'work'out you pretty much have nothing to be afraid of. Dont treat it like a nightclub and you likely wont piss anyone off and best of all you will see results. :)

I opened this thread hoping for a discussion on the calorie burn for playing hockey. I play it but I dont watch it - maybe the occasional game. The 1000 calorie burn I was getting every Sunday night was great but now that my season is done I dunno what I will replace the burn with...

I get that, but this individual looks like they lost 10-15 lbs. So they would need to make a gain of 10-15lbs of lean muscle mass in 3 months while at the same time losing 10-15lbs of fat. That is a phenomenal growth rate that bodybuilders would kill for.
