Thanks guys! Now I'm more pumped than ever to lose those last 20 pounds... Maybe my next shopping trip will lead me in the single digits?

I'm very sorry that you feel that way... I think we can all relate to your pain. You know that you have to hit rock bottom to push yourself up even harder! You've come to the right place. This site and the friends I made here have helped me so much, you have no idea... If I was able to turn my life around, I know you can…

You guys are good!!! Well done, all of you!! :drinker: I knew this would be a bit much for me, but I wanted to see how far I was able to go... I should hit 55 miles before the end of the week, which is a first for me! So all in all, I'm pretty proud of myself! ;-)

I am graduating C25K in less than two weeks, and I've registered for my first 5K ever at the end of October. To think that I was out of breath after a one minute run when I began... It got tough sometimes, but I'm really proud I've pushed through it! Don't give up! Success is around the corner for you... :-)

Hey there, I'm also from the Ottawa area. Feel free to add me as friend. I'll do my best to motivate you! ;-)

Thanks Kiki!! So happy to have you as a friend!

All right, I'll give it a try... glad to know that Polar offers good customer service! :-)

Tough, but worth the sweat... go for it!!! Don't start with heavy weights though. 3 pounds dumbells are quite enough as you do a lot of repetitions. Couldn't finish it the first time I tried... but that was a few months ago and I'm in better shape now. I can finish it, but not without shedding a few tears! lol Have fun…

Just checking to see if everybody is still pushing for this... Challenging, but we'll be proud of ourselves when it's over! :-) Keep on walking!

Oh ya... killer area.... Jillian Michaels' DVD "No more trouble zones" addresses that spot and others... lost a few inches. Still could light up a fire, but no big bondfire like before... ;-)

Buy another one, that's the only way to get an accurate reading... ;-) Seriously, I bought a Sportline and returned it the day after... way, way, way off. Got myself a Polar Ft4 instead.

Being big boned is not a theory... it's just a fact that some of us need to live with. But that doesn't explain why I was 50 pounds overweight. I was eating like a pig, there's your reason! lol BUT, it does make a difference in the end for determining what's your ideal weight (more or less 10-15 pounds is still…

I'm 5'6'' and big boned too (for real) and I used to weigh 140... Let me tell you that you could see my big bones sticking out.... I aim more for 150 and being toned and trimmed.

I'm in the same boat. Feel free to add me as a friend. :-)
