I'll be all ears, because these cravings drive me crazy!

You lost a whole person! That's fantastic! Enjoy the compliments!

Whatever works for you, you know... I don't feel the need to do that. My "fat" pictures to me are a reminder of what I could go back to. Believe me, I need to keep one of those handy in case I have a craving of some sort! ;-)

Now you're just showing off...

Don't hurt yourself, but if you can push through it, you won't regret it. I thought I would never get passed level 1, and I just started level 3 today! You can do it! :-)

Huh... what DOES it stand for?? LOL

Wow.. that's a lot of bashing for a few snickers bars... I'm not saying it is the way to go if you want to lose weight, but she probably would have eaten those anyways, so I guess it's not all bad that she did burn a few calories beforehand. It really is a journey, and not everybody is at the same stage. Try to understand…

Might be shin splints... I had them before. http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_5/196.shtml

You're right, no fair. It's great that you've decided to get in shape and shed the extra pounds! Keep going and don't mind those negative comments!

You're either a pretty fast walker, or Google is wrong... ;-) I walk 30 minutes every day at a very brisk pace, and my gps device estimates an average of 10 min/km (with hills and everything).

Thanks for the link. It is an interesting post. It's reassuring to me, because I know I can't rely solely on the signals my brain is sending me.

It is difficult. Especially if you're not too fond of your image your self. It shows... Not an attractive feature.

Thanks people! I will go to bed a smarter woman tonight...

It has to do with serotonine and dopamine secretion... Here's an article that explains it fairly well : http://www.nursetogether.com/Life/LifestyleArticles/LifestyleArticle/tabid/100/itemId/1042/Shift-Workers-Sleep-Deprivation-and-Weight-Gain.aspx I've always been a poor sleeper... It really does have an influence on…

For me, it's just faster sometimes to add up mentally all the calories than to log everything precisely in my diary. I figure it's better to do it quickly rather than not... But I try to stay away from those quick adds, because I like to see what I ate in retrospect to figure out what went wrong (or right)...

I always find that the first 10 pounds (it's not my first attempt to lose weight, you see... ;-) ) are easier to shed. Then things get to slow down. Try changing your workout routines. Your body gets used to do same exercises and it doesn't have as much effect on it... Hope this helps a little. :-)

Thanks for the post. I'm going to check that out... :-)

I agree. I was on the brink of losing my mind at 1200 cals. I have now set my weight lost goal at 1 pound a week and I find it much more manageable that way...

I'm in the same situation... always the same! If you find a solution, let me konw! ;-)

Stay away from the Sportline Duo 1010... That's all I can say! Bought one yesterday, and I'm returning it right this minute! Very difficult to use, very inacurate... I'm gonna get myself a Polar ft4! ;-)

Go to www.jennyford.com, 3 great work-outs free there... and you can also find them on YouTube. If anybody has come across other great finds, I'd be curious to know too! :-)

I admire your courage and I think you should be very proud of yourself for making that first step, because it's the hardest one... There's a lot of information on binge eating here : http://www.helpguide.org/mental/binge_eating_disorder.htm But I for one think that the most effective way to cure yourself from this disease…

I sit in front of my computer all day too... I'm adding you. I'm kind of new here also. :-)
