I'm 55 as well and post menopause. I have been having bio-identical pellets installed in my rump for almost a year. I had been past the hot flash stage, but found that despite hours of working out and watching what I ate, I was still gaining weight and losing hair. I can't say that the pellets have truly helped with…

I like the shredded brussel sprouts (easier and faster to saute'), the fresh power greens for smoothies, all the frozen fruit for smoothies as well. The mediterranean hummus and reduced guilt pita chips are awesome.

My FT7 went on the fritz after the year warranty. I changed the battery in the watch and spent $10 having the transmitter battery changed because I couldn't get it open. Eventually, I just bought another transmitter, which is a different style than the previous model and it works fine. It's and H1 Polar transmitter. I also…

OP - You have to find strength and perservere. He and his mom are both nut jobs. It's just ashame you didn't find this out until after you had your new baby (congrats on the new life). Do you have family members or friends nearby who can vouch for your parenting skills? His mom is playing emotional blackmail and she needs…

Insanity Max Interval Sports Training. I wanted to run, but the rain kept me inside today. No complaints though...I was dry, save for sweat, and burned 425 calories.

I'm a huge fan of my Polar FT7. I was able to get additional chest straps on Amazon for like $14. Since then, I've purchase 3 for loved ones.

I use a Spibelt - http://www.spibelt.com/. I carry my phone, ipod, and key in it. It looks like it doesn't hold much, but it does with minimal bounce.

Welcome fellow Michigander! Well, I was until I moved to Texas 4 years ago. I also have two boys - they're 24 and 22 now. You're definitely not alone. Hot flashes and night sweats are my problem. The support here has been wonderful.

I'm a huge fan of pinot grigio/pinot gris. I typically drink Santa Margarita, but absolutely love a brand only sold at Trader Joe's, which is called Grigio Luna. For $5.99, it's light, not too fruity and rivals more expensive wines I've had. I also love King Estate Pinot Gris from Oregon. I've just started delving into…

I'm a new runner as well. I started back in March with C25K but found that the app wouldn't work well on my Windows Phone. I abandoned that and just started pushing myself to run until I got tired. After suffering a stress fracture from running AND doing Insanity, I've recovered and am back to running at least 3 times a…
