We just started using one a few days ago so visually there are no changes yet. But as far as it working... my abs are telling me today that something is working  It is definitely more comfortable than doing crunches on the floor.

Thats great! Looks like a typical WV strip bar

Did you calibrate the Nike+? It says it is fairly accurate for "most" people. I would guarantee that my stride is nowhere near the people that the Nike+ is marketed towards. I checked mine when I first got it and it was off by .27 miles. The access road to my plant is exactly 1 mile, and I calibrated it, it's dead on now.

They do have a 'fitness center' consisting of 2 worn out treadmills, a recumbent bike and an incline board. I did find a few minutes to walk last week, but this class coming up is a @#$%*&... I've been out of school for 15 years... didn't like algebra then, hate it now but I have to use it every day and the test I am…

Well, I got 4.?? miles in today. This sucks cause in two weeks I'll be back in that damn hotel for another week. My work wants me to take all these classes to get CE hours and more certifications that I'll never see another dime for. Ticks me off that they cut into my treadmill and biking time :explode:

I'm not sure what the consistency is supposed to be(I'm a hummus newbie  ), but bean dip is about what it is like. The brand name is 'Private Selection' I do like it, pretty good on the Special K Italian herb and tomato crackers- and a two tablespoon serving goes a long way!

We actually found some today and picked up a container of the roasted red pepper. I was anxious to try it and had a bit on a Wheat Thin. Pretty darn good! I am hoping it 'sets' up a bit after being in the fridge though, it was a little too thin. I would have never in a million years tried this stuff if it wasn't mentioned…

And Junior stuffs it in the wall. Should b e a good race, probably take the green flag with about 8 or so to go.

Zoloft is a wonder drug  He may be able to salvage a 2nd place finish tonight. The 'old man' is just too fast. But all we can do is keep hoping Martin stuffs it in the wall- with two to go and Tony makes the pass for the win  <sarcasm>OH, and no worries about Junior, he can't find his pit stall most of the…

I actually liked Tony better when he was punching reporters in the mouth and stuff  "Controversy sells, so be controversial" 81 to go.

Don't feel bad. I sucked in two different leagues last year, and this year isn't going much better. I am like 7 out of 12 in one, and 990-something or other out of twelve hundred and some odd people in another. The blue deuce is on fire now. Hopefully Tony will turn it back on before long.

Tony is doing well. Looks like he is racing at Eldora at time though  Denny Hamlin's car is a good looking ride this week.

Finally, a Saturday night short track race. My favorite! Go TONY!

Thanks.

I looked into setting up a challenge. The only problem is that anyone can join unless you make it an 'invite only'. With it being set up like that, you have to email an invitation and some folks are leary about giving out their email address. You all decide what you want to do, post it and I'm there when I get back home.

I started a thread http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/48408-anyone-using-the-nike-ipod a week or so ago about it. I'm all for setting up or joining a MFP challenge. I'm not sure what happened to the lady that posted in the other thread, she was up for it at the time.

My little boy is three and is a Smoke fan also. He was so confused for the first three races... couldn't figure out why Tony was wearing red and the orange car wasn't in front  We wear many colors around here. I'm a Stewart fan, my wife likes Junior(for reasons other than his driving ability), and the little guy…

Yep, Joey Lagano. Ya may as well watch the Nationwide Series, half the field are cup drivers:ohwell:

Glad to see Joey get another win. I see him doing great things in the future... maybe another Kyle Busch? Hopefully without the attitude

The code is:

Hey I'm a newbie... and a fat guy. What do you expect?

Will do. I will set it up as an invite challenge and a distance for the month of April. I am already in one challenge to do 40 miles for the month bit we are almost half way through April. What do you recommend for a distance now? 30, 35? I think that is doable. Although I am a beginner at this, I'm game for it.
-
If so, maybe we can set up a challenge on the Nike site?
-
Awesome!!! I'm a bit jealous of you  . I want to be in shape enough to do a 5K and a century. One if these days I'll be posting those two goals too. Thanks for the inspiration!

Wow, been here for almost a month and never knew there was a NASCAR thread :noway: Lets try to keep it alive. Looking forward to some racing chat with you all.
