I just joined. I just started yesterday doing Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 for the main reason of looking good in a bikini for my 7 year anniversary trip the first of June. I honestly don't need to lose weight...maybe 2 or 3 pounds. I need to tone badly. I am thin and frumpy. I finished Day 2 today, 28 more days to go. :)

Hey I am barely still 33 (I turn 34 on Sunday). I got on MFP 5 weeks after my second kid was born and lost all my baby weight and then an additional 35 pounds. I have kind of maintained (gained about 5 pounds) and am looking to lose a couple pounds and keep it off. I am now (as of this week) doing green smoothies for lunch…

From your ticker, it looks like you want to weigh 120 pounds, I don't consider that drastically bad. I weigh less than that (barely) and I feel healthy.....although I ate McDonalds today. :) What are you needing help with that your getting mean comments on?

If someone adds me then I will start with you! I have it at home still perfectly in cellophane. I do jog/walk and starting Zumba again tonight. I would love to add 30 day shred just need the motivation to do it.

Oh honey I so know how you feel. I was in your shoes two years ago. I had PPD and I will blame my feelings of hopelessness on that. Yes even weight got me down. You are retaining water....it is simple as that. With my first child gained 30 pounds lost all of it in two weeks. Second child gained 48 pounds and it took me 4…

Journaled every day for about 9 months Was always around my calorie goal Did excerise that I liked (running and Zumba) Weighed myself the same time (morning after I went to the bathroom) same day of the week and posted my loss right after on MFP, Yay! What kept me going? I didn't have a lot of control in my life at the…

I found this website while I was on maternity leave. I was trying to do WW on my own. I didn't have the money to join WW again so I was looking for free food trackers and found this site and instantly became obsessed. This site has helped me control food and I have learned so much! You have lost a lot of weight! Good for…

^^^^Very good advice. I too lost more than 10 pounds on maitenance. I had to just stop counting. I was anal about counting and decided one day that I needed to give my mind a break and hopefully my body. Anytime I felt bad about what I ate or if I didn't like what I would see on the scale I would start counting again. I…

Hey I am also a mother of two and 33 years old. I am kind of in maitenance now (been here for a year) but I have put on just a few pounds so I dropped my calorie intake to lose a half pound a week. I started MFP after I had my 2nd baby and it took me about 7 months of true commitment to lose the weight I wanted to and then…

When I got back into a my non maternity jeans/jeans before pregnancy.....of course I started doing this after I had a child but I had gained almost 50 pounds. It took me 5 months. It was A LOT of work but totally worth it. Now those are way too big.

Been on maintenance for over a years now. Been indulging (eating out for past three days) while on vacation and then coming home with out food in the house. Today, I went shopping and stocking. Glad I found time even with a full schedule I got it done! Healthy homemade food for the rest of the week :).

I don't buy the whole Martha Stewart and Doctorate comparison. It is saying that being a home maker and getting your education is just as important as being healthy for a woman. That is not true. Being healthy should be every woman's goal. Now with that being said I think people would find this more socially acceptable if…

Cut back on the booze period......I have lost weight before not cutting it out but I always ended up gaining it back ( I ended up consuming most of my calories in drinking and then giving up because I would get drunk and binge eventually). Try only drinking one night a week or less at least for the first 3 months. Join…

I have maintained for over a year now. Actually lost a little bit on maintenance while tracking so I stopped tracking and stopped cardio. I think I have finally found my balance. I am what you might call "skinny fat". I need to tone but have been putting it off. I do track when I feel bloated and disgusted with myself. It…

Wow, some people are so shallow. What does it matter how a person looks in your eyes in a bikini????? I think people need to take a step back....I can remember feeling bigger and wearing a tank with my bikini and not taking it off because I was self conscious. You know how much that sucked? Tanning with something sticking…

I might be the only one to say you are not overreacting. Why? Because you just had a baby and you are super sensitive. Good thing you told your husband. You should start getting better but if the crying jags don't stop seek professional help. I would cry for hours if I read a sad news article or if my dog seemed wierded…

I hate all the eat more responses. I think that is obvious. She is wanting alternatives. Planning meals, spacing them is a good suggestion, eating more protein is always good. No matter how many calories you eat, if you are eating less than you were eating before, you are going to feel hungry at the beginning. I never ate…

I have been on maintenance since July 2012. I still counted calories until November and then I realized that I wasn't eating enough so I stopped counting. Stayed the same weight until about a month ago and I am slowly gaining. I am now back to counting calories. I think it is a balancing game. I always weigh myself on a…

Oh honey, take it from someone who has had to do A LOT of work on their relationship due to trust issues. I have two kids and frankly wouldn't be able to live on my own without him. I could go back to a small *kitten* town and live with my parents with no oppurtunity for me or my kids or work it out with my…

I had a friend post this on FB tonight and there is a bit of controversy. I like it but I don't like the attention it was getting. She was saying it looked realistic........Okay, when I was a size 10 my stomach didn't look like that (like I had worked out for forever, I had rolls) and my face wasn't thin.....basically I…

Gave it up for lent. I was a pretty heavy drinker two years ago but then my husband gave it up all together so I cut way back. I will get a bottle of wine perhaps once a month but like I said it has been before Valentine's day since I had a drink.

I think you should pose in this spot everytime, how amazing that would be to see the transformation!!!! I think your progress is great!!!! Good job!!!

I live in Kansas and do not own anything camoflauge. I hate country music. I grew up listening to Tupac, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Snoop Dogg, and then I also listen to alteternative rock. I did however learn how to drive on a dirt road at the age of 12, have ridden on a tractor, seen cows on a daily basis, jumped in a truck…

Gaining 48 pounds while pregnant and not being able to bend down to put on shoes for a few months since I got so big. People thinking it was okay to tell you how big you have gotten like it isn't hurtful while pregnant so I had many rude comments. When I gave birth to only a 6lb 11oz boy and only lost 25 of the 48 pounds…

You look amazing!!!!!! I love your dress, you will feel so confident on your wedding day, great job!

I took phentermine in my twenties a couple of times and the weight came off real fast and came on real fast when I got off. This is the first time I have lost the weight and it has stayed off for more than three months. Surprisingly I am doing it by eating right only at this time. I lost it by working out and eating right.…
