I'm going to try it like that, hopefully it won't look like liquified algae, I'm having a hard time getting over the look of it, even though it tastes fine!

So, I'm not going to lie - I drink my coffee black and I don't know how to make a latte. I sometimes order them at coffee shops, so it's not like I don't sometimes enjoy them, but I have never made one myself and I have no idea how much milk to put in or what to do to the milk to make it a latte. I can't digest plain milk…

Thanks, I'm hoping that it's just because I did the workout before I linked to MFP. Hopefully I won't run into it very often, I just added the workout manually.

Thanks - I found it. However, it's only syncing one workout of the 2 I just did. Argh, technology.

Just use a banana in your smoothies with a bit of milk. I toss a banana in with about 1.5 cups of frozen fruit (berries or pineapple) and about 1 cup of almond milk and blend it up, nice smooth texture. No yogurt needed!

In the last 2 it looks like you lost a lot in your face, in general, you look healthier in the last picture than the second even though I can't quite pinpoint exactly what is doing it.

I tried weighing my boobs once on my kitchen scale, because I'm all mad-scientific like that. I get an F for accuracy, but I did my best. They weigh just over 2 pounds each. I went from a 38-40 H to (minus 65 pounds) a 34 G. My boob progress is slow, I'd love to be a D cup someday and walk in and buy a bra that wasn't…

My cup size hasn't changed a great deal (38-40H to a 34G) but it LOOKS much different. I'm hoping that as I lose my last 20 pounds my cup size will drop, but I was looking at a picture of myself from a few years ago (65lbs heavier) and my boobs are definitely not the gigantic balloons they were, no matter what my cup size…

Get the dress, she's right about the matching dye (I was a bridesmaid and this was an issue with one girl getting a dress at a different time, it was ever so slightly lighter than everyone else's). BUT plan on getting it altered to fit before the wedding. You're not altering the style, you're just going to have it taken…

I'm 34 years old, 5'3" tall, and weigh 155 at the moment. My goal is 130. My starting weight was just about 220. A few summers ago I got down to 137 and was pretty happy there, but I lost that weight due to stress and quickly put it back on when I started being able to eat again.

Zucchini cakes, zucchini tots, mix it into pasta sauce to make it more filling, slice it up and grill it, layer it as a replacement for noodles in lasagna, sliced or diced and cooked with fajita seasoning for fajitas/tacos, muffins (duh), hollow it out and fill with sauce and protein for a zucchini boat, oh the…

There's a lot of debate about diet soda, but the basic reasons I avoid it is because it's all chemicals. Seriously, look at the label, it's pure chemicals. That, and when my mother contracted liver cancer at 38 years old, during her extensive treatment at the University of Michigan, her very respected oncologist said, "off…

You can make scalloped turnips just like scalloped potatoes. I also cooked turnips last night and mixed them 50/50 with potato to mash up and made mashed potato & turnips, my 5 year old ate them without complaint so I guess it was successful. I love roasted parsnips, cut them up and toss them in some olive oil in the oven.…

I have high arches and used to get this really bad (like, I'd be limping in the evenings because it hurt so much). Using athletic tape to support your arch helps a lot, you cut a strip and center it on the back of your heel, then wrap it around so it crosses at your arch (you can find a diagram online, that's how I figured…

Pass gas in the very small weight area. I actually had to stop using weights because these sisters were always there at the time I was and one (or both) of them made the place stink so bad I couldn't breathe. Good for you for healthy eating, but seriously, YUCK. Staring at the readout on my machine. Mind your own business,…

I avoid artificial sweeteners, but you can use agave nectar. It's much sweeter than sugar so you don't have to use as much and it's natural, so you won't be putting any weird chemicals or overly processed stuff into your body. So, for instance, if you take 2 tsp of sugar in your coffee, try with 1/2 tsp agave, if you need…

I used to drink a lot of coffee in the mornings, like 3-4 8oz cups. When I decided to give it up I switched to brewing half caffeinated and half decaf, I did that for a week, then went down to decaf (decaf still has caffeine), after a few weeks of decaf I switched over to green tea (blueberry green tea is the BEST) and I…

I've never tried the sweetened, I always buy Blue Diamond Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk, it works great in smoothies and cereal and no soy, which is a bonus. I keep eyeing the chocolate, but I don't usually actually drink it so I don't know what I'd use the chocolate for. Open to suggestions!

Your results are amazing for just 12 days in! I hope you have a tailor on hand, by day 30 you're going to need that dress taken down a size or two! Great job!

My kid is exceptional at embarrassing me: Standing on the train platform in the rain, a young couple walks up with plastic bags on their heads to protect their hair. My son yells loudly to them, "Why do you have garbage hats!?" At about 1 year old he is in his stroller on the bus with me. A girl walks by in a skirt and he…

Steaming it is the best way to begin with asparagus. Grilling it or roasting it is good, but really easy to mess up, steaming it will limit the amount of potential problems resulting in "yuck" (over-roasting, grill vapors, etc), my 5 year old son loves asparagus so I make it about once a week, and even then sometimes I…

Not usually, not unless they think they know me, which happens a lot. Everyone knows someone with orange-red hair and freckles and surprisingly, a lot of them don't seem to remember what the person actually looks like besides the hair and freckles. Other than that, I'm pretty average looking and I like it that way. I don't…

Everyone's body is different, but for me, 10 pounds = 1 pants size fairly consistently. My boobs, however, haven't got the memo and have stayed the same cup size through 60+ pounds of weight loss.

VS sized me WAAY wrong. For a good sizing you need to go to Nordstrom, they're actually trained there - not just a co-worker showing them in 30 minutes how to size a bra, they have an actual "course" they have to take according to the sales girl that sized me. Once you get your size and you know the style you like, you can…

Get on your hands and knees and extend your leg out behind you (raised level with your back), bring it back down on your knee and repeat. I don't know specifically what this targets, but when I do it my butt cheeks hurt like heck so it's gotta be good, right? ;)

Congrats! It's funny how motivating that can be! I got a new driver's license last year and I was SO disappointed when they said they'd use the same picture. At the time I was 145lbs (5'3") and the picture was from when I was 215lbs! So, my driver's license has the proper weight and a picture of my "fat face". I guess it's…

Nothing can compare to Nutella's deliciousness. Try just buying those little snack size ones with the side of Nutella and the sticks so you don't have a big jar sitting on your nightstand with a sticky spoon hanging off the side and Nutella smears across your pillow and a morning clouded with regret.

Aldi has come a long way from the "food like product" distributor that it used to be. Their fruits and veggies are usually fresh, frozen bags of veggies are only $1, and most of the grocery staple items are much cheaper there (I can get, for instance, corn tortillas, the same exact brand as in other stores, for 39 cents a…

I was eating 1360 for months and was stuck. Then I tried the TDEE calculations and very reluctantly increased my calories to 1600 and I started to lose again. Go figure, eh?
