If I'm not hungry and I have a lot of calories to deal with (such as your 500 cal deficit) I would make 2 pieces of toast and put 1 tblsp of peanut butter on each piece. But that would be about 300 cals, then I would just leave the deficit. Cant force-feed yourself.

I lift weights but I drink Body Fortress from Walmart because it's in my price range. It's 140cals for a scoop and vanilla (the only flavor I've tried) is good with cold cold water and even more delicious with skim milk (if you can spare some extra calories). I usually chug some after the gym.

Sorry to keep following you around on the message boards but you've posted a lot and I have a comment for them all lol Why don't you just try something different? Try doing a different cardio machine or going longer or anything else.

Personally, I dont worry about carbs as long as they come from good foods (ie, not over processed crap). I try to eat high-er protein because I do lift heavy and I am trying to retain muscle mass while losing weight. I kind of agree with you. I'm not in it for the attention (perhaps if I were single I would be) but I am with the philosophy of "if you got it flaunt it". But I wear spandex pants or tight shorts because they are comfortable, not because they are "sexy". And I always wear a baggy top just because it's more comfortable.

I use whey and eat lots of other foods with protein. Don't decide to drink or eat whey (or any protein) with the idea that you will bulk up, because you wont. It takes a lot of work to get really big with protein only. I lift heavy, drink protein, and eat as clean as I can (I try!!) and I haven't bulked at all. I've lost…

I think it all basically comes down to, how bad do you want it? I can easily go buy a bag of cookies and chow down but that wont help me get to where I want to be. Eat for the body you want, not for the one that you have.
